Cryptocurrencies finally caught the interests of the public when Bitcoin made the headline for it's phenomenal meteoric rise to nearly $20K on December of 2017. Making some individuals millionares overnight. Bitcoin was everywhere after that. Everybody wanted a piece or two of this coin. But for some individuals who just cannot afford this crypto asset, Altcoins may very well be the best alternative.
But other than seeing as just an " alternative to bitcoin", most Altcoins have even more use cases, serve much bigger purpose, with better technology and bigger potentials than Bitcoin. And yes, Altcoins can also give us huge gains in the long run.

in my opinion about this theme, altcoin can be very famous because many new altcoins have emerged using new techniques, such as miwblewimble, etc. this could trigger a big growth in the future.

I doubt that. Such coins with innovation like Grin and Beam are really rare. This even holds true with real usage coins. Aside from that, most of altcoins are created with money making purposes.

Investors who buy coins or use altcoin also expect large profits and make money.  However, if it is not supported by the technology used by the coin, it is very difficult to increase the value of the coin.

I agree with you, that now many Altcoins are lacking attention and finally disappear from the market.  Investing in the top ranked Altcoin really can secure our money from loss. Altcoin was once very popular in 2017 but now it has started to decline, maybe this is because there are too many Altcoins there.

Is it? Or they wanted the new altcoin for a short term period alone? Most project now are being process in IEO, so I doubt the new investors are really care about the product or services after the trading start, cause they will trade their bought tokens especially if the ROI in market is very high. Not even know what is the real use of the token they bought but as long it has profits. Trust me, they arent called investors but traders who want quick money.

I have no suggestion because the price of crypto coins fluctuates and cannot be predicted.
IEO or ICO is run to get initial funds from Investors, it can be said that Investors because they buy altcoin to fund new projects from the tokens they buy

Most project now are being process in IEO, so I doubt the new investors are really care about the product or services after the trading start, cause they will trade their bought tokens especially if the ROI in market is very high. I agree with you, the rate of return on investment makes new investors sell the altcoins they have, but for some people who know how to use the altcoin they hold, they will not sell it and use it to make payments and some other things, education is needed for potential investors just see more project ideas and read the details of the whitepaper.

The reason why people like to invest in altcoins it's because they can make double in a short time, but it's hard to spot a profitable altcoin.
