Suggestion Box / Time limit
« on: April 09, 2024, 12:32:35 PM »
I have previously reported two posts from a different user as their post was taken from Google. Both users are baby step rank, and the content of their posts is exactly the same.

So, I reported it. However, since I reported it one after another, I received this error text "The last topic report from your IP was less than 100 seconds ago. Please try again later."

I also encountered the same error sometimes whenever I tried to publish a post and suddenly another user had one new reply to that specific thread. If I click the post again, the error will be shown as "the last post from your IP was less than 25 seconds ago."

This sometimes be the reason why I have mistakenly suddenly clicked the exit and left my post as not published and need to re-write it again.

My suggestion is:
Maybe we should remove this limitation only for full members or senior members and above ranks.

Thanks, admin!

Mga palitan at crypto sites / Paytaca - New P2P local exchange
« on: March 17, 2024, 06:41:40 AM »

- No KYC
-May marketplace

Philippines (Tagalog) / Preparation for Possible Ban of Binance
« on: February 08, 2024, 01:51:12 PM »

Possible Action for Binance Users
1. Do nothing
This action is banking on a situation wherein Binance is not really banned in the Philippines and the advisory remains just an advisory.

If the Binance ban does not happen, then the user’s funds in the exchange remains accessible and, as they say, life continues.
If the Binance ban does happen, then the user is faced with the situation wherein they may not be able to access their funds.
An argument being circulated is that the user can still access Binance using VPN, but it is important to note that Binance itself does not allow its users to use VPN when accessing the exchange.

2. Take Action by Moving The Funds Off Binance
This action is banking on a situation where Binance does really get banned in the Philippines.

If the Binance ban does not happen, the user can do whatever they want with the funds they withdraw.
If the Binance ban does happen, then the user can still do whatever they want with their funds because they can still access it (because it is no longer in Binance.)

Gambling discussion / Lucky in gambling, not in business.
« on: February 04, 2024, 02:41:54 PM »
Yesterday, I was with a friend, and we discussed gambling. During our conversation, we both decided to open an online casino to play some slots. However, we chose different titles of slot games to play. We both deposited an initial amount of $10 each to start gambling. As we focused on our devices, we tried our best to win our respective games. After some time, my friend informed me that he had already multiplied his money and cashed it out. On the other hand, I lost the money I had initially deposited into my account.

Later on, we stopped playing and sat down to chat while enjoying a beer. During our conversation, my friend mentioned his belief that some people are inherently lucky, while others are not. He then brought up the idea that if you are successful in gambling, it could mean that you are not skilled or fortunate enough to handle a business. Alternatively, if you excel in business, it may suggest that you are not lucky enough to win at gambling.

I paused for a moment and contemplated the possibility that it might be true. I have always regarded myself as an unlucky gambler, yet I have consistently achieved great results whenever I have ventured into small business.

How about you, do you also have this kind of belief, or do you believe this belief is true or not?

Gambling discussion / "I'm done with gambling, but"
« on: January 14, 2024, 02:21:30 PM »
I have seen this Instagram reel about a certain gambler with a text on his video "I think I'm done with gambling forever."

So, the man sold his stove for $200 to pay for his rent. However, despite his intentions, he was unable to resist the urge to gamble. He used the money to bet and ended up losing it all. Despite the setback, he found another way to get money and began gambling again.

The money was lost again and has left with only $50. He then tries his luck one another time. In the end, he finally won a huge sum of money.

I know this may be just another random video on Instagram, but it does happen in real life.

If you are in his situation, are you going to risk your rent fee to have a chance of making more money?

Philippines (Tagalog) / 10 Web3 Games na P2E na aabangan ngayong 2024!
« on: January 08, 2024, 05:08:57 AM »

Crypto Exchanges / Status of CEX in your country
« on: December 17, 2023, 02:23:36 AM »
A few weeks ago, SEC Philippines released an announcement/warning to the public that the Binance Exchange is not a registered exchange in our country and illegally operates without a license.

Right now, Binance was given 3 months from November 29 to comply with the regulations of the Philippines.
This news was not only for Binance but the other centralized exchanges that are unregistered will also be banned.

We have a local wallet exchange that we can use (e.g. coinsph, gcash, pdax), however, Filipino crypto users find it more convenient to use Binance P2P transactions.

How about in your country, is it legal or illegal to use crypto?
How does the government make its move against CEX?

“It is supposed to be three months from our issuance date. Three months from November 29. Depending on how feedback is, we can actually extend that, but currently we should feel lucky with the three months. I’ll be blunt, the original recommendation on my desk was one month. Someone even mentioned one week as a transition period. So the three months was actually a Christmas thing so as not to traverse Christmas and not to make hard for Filipino investors during that time.” Kevin Lee, Commissioner

Quote
"Will it only be Binance? Lee clarified that all the other unregulated exchanges cited, including OctaFX and MiTrade will be banned three months after issuance of the advisory."

« on: December 09, 2023, 03:35:28 AM »
