NEW YORK, Jan 7 (Reuters) - Bitcoin topped $40,000 for the first time on Thursday, as it continues a rally that has seen the digital currency climb more than 700% from a March 12 closing low.

This news was published in Jan 7, 2021 at the time when Bitcoin was also manifesting some bullishness. Now, we are in 2023, and Bitcoin is in the pursuit of moving up. Right now, BTC is at $34K and if there is nothing to stop its upward movement we can be reaching again the $40K level...but I don't think it can be this week, maybe within this year.
