USDT Forum / Re: Is it true tether stable coin ?
« on: December 16, 2018, 02:00:02 AM »
But there are still doubts about Tether in regards to whether it has some dollar-reserves for every digital asset. Tether also commanded a law firm to check its balances in June, but stated that the evaluation “should not be constructed as the result of an audit.”

The most famous Bitcoin hard fork is probably Bitcoin Cash (BCH) but plenty of others have followed it on to the market. There’s Bitcoin Platinum, Bitcoin Atom, Super Bitcoin and even a Bitcoin GOD! Some people are calling 2018, “The Year of the Fork.” So, now is a great time to start learning about them!

Monero Forum / Re: Is Monero A Scam Coin?

That means, while at the moment, the miners are happily selling their Moneros for real value assets, at one point, the crowd will have 99% of all the Moneros and the miners can dirigate the network however they want. Because people will have money invested in Monero, they are basically a hostage to Monero.

Monero Forum / Re: Monero good Investment 2019

The chances that Bitcoin will make its previous 1,000% rise are minor: the cryptocurrency community admits there are more technologically advanced alternatives. New altcoins pop up every day, and their developers keep surprising audiences with innovative features and the technological supremacy of their solutions.

Stealth addresses add one-time use addresses that are created for each transaction. When using stealth addresses, only the sender and receiver can determine where a payment was sent. After a hard fork in April, XMR also implemented the possibility of multi-sig wallets for joint ownership.

I think visit How to Buy Monero via Coinbase for a full step by step guide on purchasing Litecoin (or Bitcoin) in Coinbase and then exchanging it for Monero using Poloniex. Or see our How to Buy Monero using Binance guide if you prefer to use Binance to exchange your cryptocurrencies for Monero.

Waves Forum / Re: Can Waves Compete With Ethereum?
« on: December 12, 2018, 12:13:51 PM »
I consider myself a beginner blockchain historian, and I was floored to know that there is another Ethereum like platform that is cheaper than Ethereum for blockchain startups that happens also to be known for a big and helpful community.

Waves Forum / Re: Waves platform users friendly or not
« on: December 12, 2018, 12:09:31 PM »
However, as more and more users join the crypto space, scaling has become a significant challenge for many cryptocurrency platforms. For instance, while Bitcoin’s value has hit record highs, keeping up with the ever-increasing transaction volumes is a tall order for the Bitcoin network.

TRON (TRX) Forum + Ecosystem / Re: What do you think about TRX (TRON)?
« on: December 10, 2018, 01:52:33 AM »
I think if you pull together a bunch of business development partnerships (and announce them on Twitter), make sure that the use case for TRX is achievable and that you deliver on your promises.

Every cryptocurrency HAS to make their entire code base public in order to earn the trust of new users, so they can't keep their improvement a secret. And on patents… well good luck suing a decentralized network for patent infringement.

XRP - Ripple Forum / Re: Is XRP the best coin to invest right now?
« on: December 09, 2018, 04:26:38 PM »
So when faced with the top three cryptocurrencies, bitcoin (BTC), ether (ETH) and XRP (Ripple), which should potential crypto investors buy into? The answer is in how much risk you can tolerate, and the kind of risk you’re willing to take.

XRP - Ripple Forum / Re: Will Ripple XRP be the number one cryptocurrency?

The system filters third party collections for the most competitive options. After the money is converted to XRP, it will be converted into any currency required from the receiving end.

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: What NEM Price Be In 2020?
« on: December 08, 2018, 11:32:04 PM »
In the current meltdown as well, the crypto currency has not slighted a significant amount from the peak. When you take into account that it has risen by 1000%, you still have hefty amount of returns when you compare it with the levels at which it was in last October or November. This is the reason why that even after a fall from the peak, investors are not actually worried about this crypto currency losing value.

NEM Forum / Re: What do you think about NEM?
« on: December 08, 2018, 11:30:10 PM »
The NEM team is relatively quit in what is happening but it seems they market the NEM network as solution for real problems to real businesses instead of creating hype on boards. So investors in NEM should not complain about a lethargic price development but take the long view.

Litecoin Forum / Re: Has Litecoin fallen from grace?

Many of the other altcoins simply did not exist in the current form back then. Eos, Cardano, Tron, VeChain, and Ontology are all new kids on the block and have taken some of the losses from last year’s hot cryptos. The question is, how many of them will be around and prospering this time next year.
