No its not possible on the other hand nobody can predict exactly what will happen next in crypto market but difference between XRP and bitcoin is very huge So its very hard to fill that gap in short time. Xrp is far far away from Btc. I always believe bitcoin is the king of the market and till date none of the coin has potential to drag down the btc to 2nd position.

It's impossible , Ripple is second largest cryptocurrency in cryptomarket although Ripple trade volume is very lower than ethereum trade volume. Just if looking at cryptomarket bitcoin is strong coin and it has high potential it's Market capitalization is huge different than Ripple .
