Title: Don't fall for Bakkt giveaway scams
Post by: Zed0X on September 27, 2019, 06:39:29 PM
If you are not aware yet, Bakkt has launched a few days ago and some scammers out there are taking advantage of its popularity. They are doing these BTC, ETH, and maybe other giveaways to trick unsuspecting beginners. THERE ARE NO BAKKT GIVEAWAYS. Stay safe and do not fall for these old scam tactics. Always remember not to give away your private keys, mnemonics or seed phrase to anyone.

You have to give it to these scammers, they are always updated with what's happening in the crypto market  ;)

Be careful of these giveaways because 99% of them are probably scams. Always verify the truthfulness of the information you see on the internet whether on emails, social media, or private messages. Do no hesitate to ask in forums like this.

It's so sad that anytime we thought crypto scams were about to be done with, new scams will emerge trying to take away what people have earned from them. I believe we'd all be careful so we don't end up s preys to such scam predators. Thanks for the heads up.

Scams will never be eliminated in my opinion. As long as there are people who easily gets hooked with buzz words like "giveaway", "free", "guaranteed income/profit", there will always be people who will exploit someone's greediness and ignorance.

They are smart but they are using it the wrong way unfortunately.

What a bunch of bastards. But still of you give your privatekey away that is your own fault even if you know very little about crypto.

This always happens when a new coin comes out especially with forks. During forks, so many people lose coins trying to get the new forked coin.
When other none forked coins are released and there is hype going on then the scammers take advatage and create panic so that you cannot think and make mistakes. They do this usually by offering you something. In your haste,f you make a mistake and it ends up really costing you.

Lol dude talking about scams (how odd is this) there is a google ad on this page for this site

https://innentech.com/they-dont-want-you-find-out/

Which is being advertised on this thread through google adsense. These scammers go far. It even has a fake fb comments section and everything. Google don't seem to care what they promote as long as they get paid.
