Title: YAM Token Holders ‘Burnt the Hardest’ After Price Plunges to Zero

Yam Finance, an experimental DeFi protocol, crashed to zero after the discovery of a rebase bug. Compound, Yearn Finance, and Balancer plunged shortly thereafter.

Yam Finance, an experiential Decentralized Finance (DeFi) protocol, saw its market cap crash down to zero within minutes on Aug. 13. With it, major DeFi tokens, including Compound, Yearn Finance and Balancer, plunged as well.

Have you guys bought YAM tokens?

Woah.. Good thing I did not join the hype a few days ago. I was really wondering what that potato is all about and just found out that it is actually the token YAM. Poor investors who bought YAM at that time. Tsk3x.

YAM has had good developments today. Do you have any news?

In a blog post published on Friday, the developers outlined a migration plan that will see the already existing tokens get transferred on a new smart contract with a properly functioning rebase.
