Bitcoin meetups are rare or do not occur on a weekly basis, you must search for the nearest one or travel to it
I agree and this is where online groups come in handy. There social media platforms with crypto communities that anyone (newbie) can join and learn from. From there, they could also set up local meet ups on weekends. It doesn't have to be fancy, just a regular coffee shop will do as a venue for the event.

~ I am not even sure that cards and bank payments can work without internet.
Yeah, if there will be anyone who would be affected the most, it's the people who rely on these infrastructures like big businesses. A bitcoiner will probably just have to wait a bit since Governments cannot really function properly without internet and they will be forced to fix that first.

Argentina vs Iraq
Dominican Republic vs Spain
Ukraine vs Morocco
Uzbekistan vs Egypt
Israel vs Paraguay
New Zealand vs USA
France vs  Guinea
Japan vs Mali
It's easy to fall for Parlay for the Japan, France, Argentina, and Spain respective matches but I'm holding back. They are certain to win on paper but experience tells me that at least one or two of them will draw.

Don't worry too much about pre-seasons because this is mostly experimental stage for the managers and players. Do not even bet on them. I'm amazed how there are people who try to profit from these games.

A new decentralized exchange suddenly hacked due to a developer's newbie mistake? ;D I don't know if anyone would actually buy that excuse. I'll give it a few more weeks before the devs stopped giving updates to their gullible followers and completely disappear.

Solana Forum / Re: Offers provided by Phantom wallet

Stake SOL to help Solana scale? What? ;D

Anyway, just reminder to everyone planning to use staking features offered by these wallets that authorities are starting to take notice of these services. In case you're not aware, US SEC sued Consensys over Metamask staking. It would not come as a surprise if developers behind Phantom wallet will get the same treatment.

Zcash Forum / Re: Zcash popularity
« on: July 25, 2024, 03:21:11 PM »
The anti-privacy laws/policies launched by international groups heavily affected Zcash and other privacy coins too.
And it turns out such law don't care whether the privacy feature is optional or mandatory. I expect that leave Zcash in awkward position.
That optional privacy probably hurt them too. I think they ruined their own reputation when they started releasing statements about how the transactions are not anonymous as Monero but closer to Bitcoin's privacy. That looked like turning their backs on their long time users to avoid exchange delisting and other potential sanctions.

~ although the price of bitcoin and Ethereum is volatile
None of that matters to Ferrari because they will still receive the payments in fiat. They partner with payment processors to convert each crypto payments made by their customers. In other words, they are protected from crypto's price volatility.

As others have said, you can strike a deal with these gambling platforms but be mindful that it could be cut short if you're so good at your predictions. You know how casinos and bookies don't want losing too much money right? If you keep getting it right, they might just impose limitations on your account or your affiliates.

It requested for email and password, which I do not like. I prefer wallets that I can be able to access using just seed phrase and nothing else than wallet file.
I guess that's because the account will be connected to the wallet. From what I read, their users can send BTC just by typing the email address.

Anyway, thanks for the heads up. I also prefer not to give any information to use non-custodial wallets.

I don't know why the Democrats are too quick to announce Harris as a better replacement for Biden
I mean the election for the POTUS is just over 3 months away. Do you think they can still prepare someone else to compete against Trump? Anyway, it wouldn't matter who they will choose since  I think most Americans still don't like the policies of the Democrats.

Why a board like this exists?
https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?board=59.0

We can't even post in it...
If you are talking about Further Education, I remember admin said that board is still under construction. Since that was sometime ago, it's probably not a priority to fix it.
