I'm just a college kid who probably doesn't have the vision for the regulations that dictionaries provide to students.
There are many systems that are not transparent in terms of managerial matters on campus, maybe this is also what I will bring to the table regarding Blockchain related to campus.

For example, I see that assessments from lecturers to students are not necessarily transparent but are like privacy for lecturers and students.
I also see many students who don't go to campus but have standards, what's more, those who gamble on campus and don't do their assignments also have standard grades and even more.

The assessment of lecturers on this campus to students will be transparent if they use blockchain, but the implementation is difficult to implement.

Is it true that you have a Bitcoin price graphic from 2010?
If you have it, please send your graphic in the reply to the post, I want to see your best work about Bitcoin inflations.
It's not mine, it was from glassnode while they still had it, it's not available anymore even for paid subscriptions and I was dumb enough to not downloads the csv file, which means if I would try to do it I would have to do it from scratch and , no, a pain in the ass I'm not trying till I have 2-3 days off.
lol, I really like your language style, it's frontal and very honest according to your character in the real world.
I also admit that you are very knowledgeable about every Bitcoin problem and I appreciate it, for example the graph you provided below.
Even though it's from Glassnode, you willingly and kindly provided this Bitcoin graphic information to me, thank you.

Cointelegraph made sum fuss at that time because it showed the price was about 20% lower if you count inflation, now with two years of 4.70% and 8.00% 40k is more like 30k.
Damnnn, that means Cointelegraph is overestimating the price inflation of Bitcoin.
It seems that Cointelegrah is a media that is not trusted enough to see and read about Bitcoin information.

Will the price of Bitcoin increase further before the halving?
Any Opinion?
The world economy is currently recovering and finally I can judge that it is very possible for Bitcoin to rise in price before the halving, just waiting for the best moment.
I still remember when after the previous Halving the Bitcoin price increase looked quite high and the rising position was during the Covid-19 pandemic, there should be no increase for Bitcoin.

Currently, the world economy no longer has the Covid-19 pandemic (in various countries there may be new regulations regarding the Covid-19 pandemic).
That means Bitcoin's price should rise again before the Halving is supposed to happen for now and this is very good for us to buy Bitcoin when it was below 50,000 USD yesterday.

Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling a game of chance and luck or what?
« on: February 20, 2024, 01:53:57 AM »
Luck is very strong, not only in gambling but in sports too, luck is needed at any time in order to win.
Like the sport of sea fishing, luck is really needed, such as the weather or big fish passing our fishing hooks and then Strike for getting big fish.
Luck is one in a million and getting the chance to be the lucky one  is no doubt  worth the wait, patience and of course taking that risk. Luck is not for everyone but gambling does.
It could also be said like that because luck is only for selected people so it is very rare for everyone to get luck.
In gambling it is also the same, very few people get the JackPot but among all those who gamble, maybe 500,000:1, there are 500,000 people who gamble and only 1 person gets the JackPot.

Slots gambling is totally based on luck but in other games I think luck plays an important role.
The rest of what you said is absolutely correct and you also gave the same statement as me, Slots gambling is very pure, the winnings are full of luck and because it is full of manipulation by the bookie.
Except for sports betting such as football, but I often hear about manipulation in football, as is the case in football in the Italian league, if I'm not mistaken.

Ethereum 2.0 didn't solved gas fee problem until now, mate
If you think about Ethereum transaction fees it is likely that you will also have problems with transaction fees for the various ERC20 tokens of the Ethereum coin.
What if you are looking for a way to make the best of Ethereum by reducing transaction gas costs using Ethereum Layer-2 and now many Ethereum Layer-2 projects provide varied features.
The higher the price of Ethereum coins, the more expensive Gwei Ethereum Gas fees will be. If later Ethereum Layer-1 reaches a price of 15,000 USD and the Ethereum coin transaction fee is worth 500 USD, will you continue to choose Ethereum coins as your investment asset?

Ether is a project that has started working on bugs and is updating its platform so that investors do not run away from the platform. This is already happening and Ether is not doing anything, maybe they don't have plans to update the product.
The reason why we should stake Ethereum, because It's bearish season.
Better to stake and hold our Ethereum.
If you talk about 2022, it will indeed be a very dark year for cryptocurrency, namely the Bearish season.
I really know your position at that time, you were worried about the previous market when it was Bearish and at that time Ethereum 2.0 was present by providing a good feature from POW changing to POS.

The POS system that Ethereum currently has for investors who don't have mining equipment really benefits because just by having 32 Ethereum or more you can become a Validator.
It seems that Vitalik Buterin knows very well that the future of Ethereum if it continues to use POW, it will not be worth it if it continues and finally moves to a POS system that is profitable for Hodler.

I want to hear from you:
  • Have you ever been profitable and taken profits in the crypto market?
  • How did you use that profit? Do you use that profit or reinvest it?
  • Do you think using profits is also important for your investment journey?
I use my profits from cryptocurrencies to help my father pay for college because my parents are not paying for college.
I also use this profit to invest more, I mean hold it forever because I know cryptocurrency (especially Bitcoin) has a limited supply.

I believe more in HodL because just like I save in digital assets and that's why I choose Bitcoin for HodL.
Oh yes, one more thing, soon I will graduate from college and maybe later the Bitcoin that I hold will be withdrawn for my college graduation fees, I also don't want to pass on the college graduation fees to my parents.

Gambling is like a game that drains emotions and continues to increase adrenaline
Totally agree on the bolded text above. Per personal experience, gambling really increases adrenaline whether we lose or we win. That's why I now control my gambling activities as to not damage my mental health.
Controlling gambling is the most appropriate thing, don't get carried away by emotions or negative thoughts that destroy every gamble.
Maybe focus on work, activities, college also has to have the same focus as gambling, only that focus if college is a focus on learning and gambling is a focus on games.
But still, I personally don't want to gamble or learn to gamble because I already know that the gambling system is a centralized system and can be manipulated by the bookie at any time.

As for the topic, gambling for me is a game of luck because no matter how expert you are in a certain game but if luck is not in your side, you will still lose.
Luck is very strong, not only in gambling but in sports too, luck is needed at any time in order to win.
Like the sport of sea fishing, luck is really needed, such as the weather or big fish passing our fishing hooks and then Strike for getting big fish.

288,000 is very correct according to you if the result is 5 times the current price (52,000 USD), only the same as you said the problem is in the money in circulation which is ready to increase the market cap of Bitcoin.
Hmm, this thing is different.
I mean Bitcoin has gone from 3 million pesos back last December to 43 million pesos, but nobody got 13 times richer on it.
So if we count inflation into it, we have to go into purchase power, cause for sure I would ump all my coins right now if some alien overlord would tell me yeah, Bitcoin is going to hit $288k but by the time it does $288 k would buy you a pizza!
lol, that means you also think the same thing that Bitcoin over the next 3 years will not reach a price of 288,000 USD, right?
BTW, I will also thank you if you really want to buy pizza for me, whether it costs 288,000 or not at all. :P
I really need to look into it, I had a graph that measured the price of BTC inflation adjusted to 2010 but it cuts out in 2021, I really wonder how the numbers look now.
Is it true that you have a Bitcoin price graphic from 2010?
If you have it, please send your graphic in the reply to the post, I want to see your best work about Bitcoin inflations.

Well, I think we should not talk about domain valuation of AltcoinsTalks forum, I believe we will not be sold to anyone. We should focus on the development and friendliness of the forum now and in the future.
I think whatever you said it very true, we all should be more involved in improving this community and make this forum more active instead of talking about domain valuation and etc. But, sometimes if a general topic gets some flow then we somehow share our thoughts about it and that's what I did.
I also continue to try to be active on the altcoinstalks forum because this is my home which is very friendly and can continue to be reached by the wider community across continents.
Even though I have a lot of campus assignments and deadlines that are often a bit late, I still make time to continue attending or logging in to the altcoinstalks forum.

From my experience, the altcoinstalks forum has a lot of ups and downs in traffic, I myself also sometimes rarely log in if I experience a mild illness such as a headache, but until now I have tried to continue to be active on the altcoinstalks forum.

Gambling is like a game that drains emotions and continues to increase adrenaline when we experience wins and losses.
I noticed that my college friends also talk about gambling every day and it never ends, maybe my friend is lucky because he keeps talking about gambling every day.

Every gambler's adrenaline increases when they lose because they definitely want to make up for their losses with a win.
In contrast to gamblers who are lucky with their winnings, their adrenaline does not rise because they may immediately relax and enjoy their winnings.

But as you said, if all this could happen, even when Bitcoin was 5 USD, many people didn't believe that the price of Bitcoin would reach 50 USD.
Percentages can be a pain in the ass depending on how you use them.
Bitcoin increased some 100000%, for sure it can do another 500%, right?
But also, Bitcoin increased in 15 years from 0 to 52k, till 288k it needs to go up 5 times more than it has in the last 15 years!  ;)
Yeps, this percentage definitely produces calculations that don't make sense and are considered crazy by myself, but in fact this is true and has already happened in Bitcoin, even though I had to wait 15 years.
288,000 is very correct according to you if the result is 5 times the current price (52,000 USD), only the same as you said the problem is in the money in circulation which is ready to increase the market cap of Bitcoin.

My guess is that maybe around 150,000 USD for 1 Bitcoin is also good because the market cap of Bitcoin rises higher, the bigger the market cap that must be achieved. And where did the money come from?   Should Microsoft move all its money to Bitcoin?? :P

Ethereum Forum / Re: What is the current state of Ethereum?
« on: February 18, 2024, 12:59:01 AM »
It will be very easy for Ethereum to reach 4,000 USD because there are so many new technologies that have been adopted from the Ethereum coin.
For example, we all know that Binance Exchange is the number 1 cryptocurrency market at the moment, but the first development for the BNB coin started from Ethereum.
Absolutely yes, Ethereum is so popular  many projects has integrated to Ethereum platform. I think so easy Ethereum price will touch $ 4K soon. Maybe at  may this year. Wait the bitcoin halving, if bitcoin touch $ 60K while halving, I think Ethereum price will increase around $ 4K.
Many people say that everything relies on the Bitcoin Halving and this is the same as what you said and requires trillions of USD to be able to increase the market cap of the price of Ethereum coins.
How happy I would be if Ethereum actually touched the price of 4,000 USD because it would definitely have a positive effect on all cryptocurrencies, including the most vital one, the ERC20 token ecosystem.

You also know that the Ethereum ecosystem is very large and is number 1 in the cryptocurrency space because of the uniqueness and sophistication of Ethereum.
The basic thing is that ERC is an abbreviation for Ethereum Request Comment and 20 is for the type of token, the meaning and ecosystem of ERC20 are very numerous.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Trading is not same thing as Gambling
« on: February 18, 2024, 12:46:07 AM »
Trading is switching coin A and coin Z without having to lose coins (A and Z) but there is an increase and decrease in the value of the coins.
Gambing diverts coin A with the choice we choose, if the guess is correct then we get more than our capital but if the guess is wrong then coin A will be lost.

In the statement that I have written, it can also be seen that trading and gambling are two very different words.
I prefer trading even though the value is not big, but I don't like gambling at all and I stay away from everything about gambling.
I'm trying to understand your opinion.
In trading we switch two coins A to Z, only the coin will increase or decrease, it's small loss if our prediction will wrong.
Meanwhile, if you are gambling, you choose coin A, if it is wrong then you lose your capital to buy coin A.

If you say two different word, there is no need to discuss it.. ;)
Yeps, that's my opinion about the difference between gambling and trading because these two words also have very different meanings.
But in trading there are also elements that provide the basis for gambling, such as Future, Margin and Option trading (after I saw this feature on Binance).

More precisely, I don't really understand Future, Margin and Option trading because I don't trade on Binance very often and I'm also not an expert in trading.
But indirectly, Future, Margin and Option trading on Binance is like loan trading but there is a limit on losses or profits and if the loss is large then Binance immediately takes our assets because it is not strong enough to hold our loan funds.
