Site not working....
Everything is working for me and everyone else, so you must have some problem, and I am surprised that you didnt here Noones p2p exchange.
Maybe your government is blocking their website so try using VPN to access with different IP address.

They have google store app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=team.noones.mobilemessenger&hl=en
X account: https://twitter.com/noonesapp

I guess I'm blocked from accessing the site cause the app is working perfectly from here, I just signed up, love the pixel interface and the owner is former Paxful CEO. He's a lover of Nigeria he's been here several times and keep promoting the culture.

The last 24hrs Naira p2p trading volume is $759k that's not bad for a site not too popular here. A very simple KYC too. Thanks

It all depends on where the Forum server is hosted and the convenient time for that location and also for the admin. He can't set the forum time to GM+3 while he lives in GM-6 time zone( doesn't work that way.)
Who told you that sheriff?  ;D
I can create website in five minutes and make it show any time I want, it does not matter what location is server using is hosting my website using.
And I think I saw admin saying that he can change forum time to anything, so your theory is not working ;)

Lol. I can not create a website and set the time zone to Asian while I'm stuck here in Africa. This way I can have a correct timestamp on my work. Well, the Sherrif is not a robot and can be wrong sometimes.  ;D

Well, ATL and BTT could use the same time zone to make it easy for signature managers.

Did you hear about Noones?
It is getting more popular for p2p trading in Africa and in other countries: https://noones.com/

Site not working....

Does Bestchange offer Bitcoin to NGN (Naira) or Bitcoin to Gift Cards? With the latest Nigerian government onslaught on the P2P exchange marketplace, more than 30 million Nigerians would soon be without a venue to trade, not everyone is aware of DEX or how to use them. If an exchanger on your platform may provide these services, Bestchange will benefit greatly.

BestChange does not offer any exchange options, they are only monitoring a large number of instant exchangers, Some of them might support NGN.
As far as I remember, a few months ago there was an official announcement that NGN was added to the list, so for example you can find https://www.bestchange.com/bitcoin-to-visa-mastercard-ngn.html

Thanks. The rate is not bad just N130 less than the current rate on P2p Exchanges but it's quite manageable. What part does Bestchange play against scam on these exchanges? And why are these exchanges requesting for KYC?  Thought they're unregulated exchanges.

UTC or GMT, I can't seem to understand any of them. They are just too complex and confusing for me.
Check out high resolution Gleason's New Standard Map Of The World to understand time zones better.
It's not that complicated to understand when you know that earth is one big clock and sun tells us the time of the day.

I would prefer if we could use the same time as in bitcointalk forum, but I am fine with anything really.

I don't pay attention to these badges anyway, but now that admin has plainly started, it offers mods a kind of signal to analyse such a poster, and my instincts about the said user were correct all along. I deleted a handful of his spam posts, but more kept pouring...

This is his profile https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?action=profile;u=98201

He achieved all the posts badges in less than 2 months.

Binance and OKX p2p marketplaces are no longer available to Nigerians, leaving just KuCoin and Bybit; it is only a matter of time before the government shuts them down as well.

Electrum wallet also have this features now except for Dustin attack feature ( can't verify this ) but I've only seen this feature on Wasabi wallet.
First time I hear about this, but I never had dust attack in any of bitcoin wallets I used.
I wonder if this feature will work after they stop doing Coinjoin in June, but Wasabi will soon become useless, unless some new coordinator appears.

It means no one is interested in your privacy just yet - most dust attack is to track stolen funds and to track real life identity.

Your second post about wasabi - saw one on BTT and now here. What's bad about wassabi?
Many experts said that they are feeding Chainanalysis with users information and censoring UTXOs. Wasabi was a very good wallet before. But there was a news recently that the wallet will be banned from United States. I do not know how true it is. The only thing I do not like about the wallet before the allegations was that it can make newbies confuse that passphrase is password as they represent it with password which is very wrong.

I'm not convinced about it; it appears that the SEC is peddling the fake News to rally the Bitcoin community against self-custody wallets, just as they do with mixers. Chainanalysis collaborates with the US government, and if Wassabi wallet actually feeds users information to them, they will not leave the US market. Sooner or later, the US will flush out all self-custody and mixers, as well as anything else related to privacy with the help of the Bitcoin community

They've already created choke in the Bitcoin community to shoot themselves in the head.

Sorry to ask, but who will be gaining from this type of trade? Is it the merchant who has that price or the person selling to him? Because from the screenshot above it seem to me like those who wants to sell their coin will be the ones profiting from that increased rate.

I also went to KuCoin to scope around and it seems like they are beginning to spread it to other exchanges as well - I saw some merchants listing sells ads at 1480 per dollar and their minimum trade is just 50k unlike the 7 million in Op.

I don’t know their aim for doing this, but it’s certainly not something good.

These are fake rates and the moment you click to transaction the rate changes without you knowing, these are Marchants who create unnecessary pressure to the black market rate.

Thanks for this wonderful illustration tutorial. I've been hearing about this sparrow wallet for a long time; it's recommendable. Although I believe that's why I probably just got used to electrum, But since you did this, I decided to download this sparrow wallet.

This UTXO, I can read it, and because of the explanation you made, it adds a little clarity to me, so I will repeat it. Thanks for the information you provided.

Electrum wallet also have this features now except for Dustin attack feature ( can't verify this ) but I've only seen this feature on Wasabi wallet. You can't prevent Dustin attack on Sparrow wallet and Electrum but you can manage it using the coin control feature to freeze unwanted Dustin attack.

I have a topic on this.

(if this was a double post then excuse me)

A really dedicated wallet would allow you to edit the UTXO set of your wallet and basically delete or otherwise blacklist the really small dust outputs so that they do not get spent. While I have not seen any wallet offer this feature (I have not and will never use Wasabi), it doesn't seem too hard to implement given that transaction fees in BTC are constant. So maybe just 1000 sats. Or if the halving makes the price cycle go up again then the limit can be made customizeable.

Yes other wallets allow you to edit but in Wassabi wallet your chances of getting attacked is zero - all you do is turn on the dust attack feature and set certain amount of Output to blacklist - this way you dont have to worry about dust attack coming into your wallet.

@igebotz I have experienced something like this before on OKX exchange although I didn't go clicked on it because I know is just a market manipulation so, when you click to buy NGN it would automatically change to the original price, so it is like price tempting and if you are selling and mistakenly send payment to them then you are gone. In fact lemme say they are scammers so while dealing with them you need to be very careful otherwise your money is gone.

Yes it's obvious looking at his success rate he's obviously manipulating the system. Scammers like this nain dey cause the government to take nasty actions wey go affect innocent legitimate business users

Worth knowing that there are other wallets that has coin control which can make consolidation easy. It is not only on Sparrow wallet. Wallet like Electrum and Bluewallet have the feature. Unstoppable wallet added the feature recently

NOTED. I will add other wallets with coin control to the list, I didn't think it was necessary at first and most of these wallets as of the time I made this post were without coin control feature. Good to see other wallets are seeing the benefit of this features.

Dowload verified Sparrow wallet here https://sparrowwallet.com/download/
I would just add that it would be better to do consolidation when transaction fees are lower, that is usually weekends.
Better to check mempool.space website for confirmation.

Yeah. Could add this somewhere in the OP . This is very important.

Thank you for this really fun tutorial, great effort.

I have a question why these UTXOs are not automatically accumulated in the wallet upon accumulation, I mean why are all these UTXO payments not considered as one after they have accumulated in the wallet?

Also, is the UTXO unification feature only present in the Sparrow wallet or is it present in another wallet such as Electreum?

Different Tnx, different block space, different UTXO- every Bitcoin you receive takes a block space( see it as you renting a space so it's your duty to pay for such space when you want to move out). The only way to accumulate all UTXOs into one is by  Consolidation. Check OP.

2. There are other wallets with the coin control features not only Sparrow wallet. I will add them to the OP.

Another Naira speculator and manipulated is here on OKX- these are one of our problem and why OKX and other exchanges needs to moderate the Naira p2p from Marchants like this. This is outrageous, the current rate is still between N1250 -N1350 and this guy is already selling at N1500, this will no doubt push others to increase their rate to meet demand. OKX might be another target is this continues.... Na we be our own problem Las Las.
