Gambling for money is not a good reason to gamble because when we do we attach emotions to it and that can lead to deviant attitudes capable of destroying our sanity. Gamble for fun and it will always be a win-win in that when you win you have pleasure and when you lose you also have pleasure.

That's the best approach towards gambling. A player should gamble just for fun and entertainment purpose and he should never consider gambling as a way to earn bread and butter. Gambling is not for weak hands or for greedy people because they will end up loosing everything they have and they'll just get addicted to it.

Gambling should not be done on daily basis, one should do it when one wants to have some fun. I believe a good players should place bets once per week as minimum or thrice per week at maximum. When someone does gambling on daily basis then the change of getting addicted to it gets higher.
