I would like to start a discussion thread for Avalanche project as I see this is one of the best ICO of 2020. This thread will consists only of pure discussion and update on Avalanche Blockchain

Recap of Events

• Sucessful Token Sale of Avalanche with $42Million raised in just 4.5hours - Avalanche completed token sale and raised 42$million USD in just 4.5 hours Last July 22, 2020.
• Avalanche and Torus Collaboration - Avalabs announced collaboration with Torus  integrating their DirectAuth to streamline the setup process of the Avalanche Wallet.
• First ever Avalanche AMA - Last July 24th Avalanche held their first ever AMA on their main telegram group with dozens of participants engage and joined the said event.
• Figment Network and JellySwap Joins Ava Labs - Avalanche-X an umbrella of Ava Labs announced approval of FigmentNetwork and JellySwap developer for their grant program.
• Avalanche concludes its first University focused hackathon - Avalanche announces the winners of this hackathon with over 30 Universities participated. Winners of this events are (from 3rd to 1st placer) Avacash, Avamatic and finally Tava. Details are on the link above for the lucky winners.

• A webinar event of Cosmos Unchained: Ethermint vs Avalanche- On August 13th, 2020, there will be a live meeting with founder of top projects of Interchain foundation, Cosmos and Avalanche. The discussion will focus on differences of cosmos "ethermint" and Avax "avalanche" This will be an exciting event so everyone must be present.
• Avalanche Telegram Recapped of some chosen questions during the first ever AMA - Avalanche published on their official medium all of some questions picked on the AMA. • Unveiling Everest: Avalanche’s Mainnet Release Candidate- - Avalanche announced the Mainnet release candidate: Everest–a fully-featured version of the Avalanche network that will act as the final phase of testing before the launch of Avalanche’s mainnet. These will comprise of different activity.
• Instructions on how to join Avalanche-Everest Release - Now the mechanics and guidelines were out for those who wanted to try out the Everest Program prior to Mainnet Launch.
• Updates to Your Avalanche Address: Improving the User Experience for All- Every Token Sale participants including community rewards must update their address for the mainnet launch. Instructions were posted here. Deadline would be on August 31, 2020.

Avax has great increase in its price last 3 weeks not due to fomo or some big news, but people start to see how much this project has huge potential. I think the movement will continue.
