The right amount of investment for crypto coins , It depends on how much you will be invest in crypto.
You will do  trading or hold for long term investment.
I think We can invest in little amount of money, not must in big money.
Several members here, They got tokens from bounty and  started to do trading and hold for long term.
Also I see  they  are enjoying in their investment because cold money.

It is always risky to put all your fund into 1 cryptocurrency at a time, from my early days I have always been advised to divide the fund into 5, 10, 20 depending on the size of the fund, then research the familiar coin before investing. For coins on exchange, you buy in trickles into the coin

Well, there is no any particular amount or rate that can be a yardstick to one's investment in crypto coins. I believe that should be based on one's income and also the reason one is investing in crypto.

I agree with you, It is depending on our money.
I just say, I have invested in crypto more 10K USD at several top coins.
And try to invest in several new potential coins but not much, just 1K USD at more 10 coins.
It's just way to gain large profit.
Because investment is better to split in many coins will give us many chances.
