From my little experience in crypto, I realized that 75% of people in crypto are people that Hodl with expectation of price increase for them to take profit while about 25% Hodl and also trade crypto.

Trading crypto is not an easy task as one may lose all his/her fund overnight because of lack of requisite knowledge like technical and fundamental analysis. Not all those that venture into trading do make it but only a fraction hence the reason why copy trading has now become an integral part of most exchanges because this feature allow not only newbies but mid pro to leverage on expertise of others to get decent profit while the elite traders in turn get some commission from being followed.

These number figures you have mentioned, are they confirmed by some official source or you just making a hard guess here. Because I don't agree with you on these numbers, I think more people hold and do trading at the same time, because seeing at the adoption rate of BTC only, I can say now more people do holding + trading and that's my hard guess.

You are right about copy trading, the main raeson might be that people wants to make extra bucks so mostly the newbies, who have no technical skills so they just follow other experts but they still make lose if bad selection being made.

We're same, I have never tried copy trading but I learned a strategy to find the best master trader. Even though I have that knowledge, I still not convinced to  rely my funds to their trades. I'm not saying I don't trust them, it's just feels different if you trade your own money

Finding the master trader to copy is very essential in copy trading like you have rightly said and its not difficult to know. Personally i dont advise anyone to do try by error with their funds simply because they want to learn how to trade on their own, copy trading is also an avenue for new traders to learn and develop their trading skill. If someone can make 70 : 30 gain to loss, i think its a fair deal cos no one can be 100% accurate when it comes to trading. It is also very essential that futures trading is where the money is for traders and it's quite very risky for someone just kickstarting his/her trading journey hence the reason why copy trading is still a very viable option.

Being a pro trader is beyond just managing emotions, they under several courses like risk management and the likes to be able to make good decision. Talking about managing emotions, BOT trading is also another option many people are exploring. What i have realised is that majority of people utilizing the copy trading features are using it to gain passive income as they do not have time to study charts and to TA prolly because they are occupied with their daily jobs which is fair for them but that doesnt mean they are the only set of people exploring the features but for those that want to go into full time trading, it is advisable to know how to execute trades on their own but could also start by copying several elite traders to gain practical knowledge.

So that you won't have to fully rely on copy trading and I know that most of this individuals that giving the signals are pros but being a pro doesn't mean you can see the future of the market crystal clear. They all ones where newbies who undergo losses too. They are only pros because they take their time to study more about the market and that knowledge have helped them in making most of their prediction certain percent sure.

But still if you are actually gaining from copy trading is not bad aslong you are accumulating some good profit (eventhough they are certain losses). Is still advisable that ones in a while you should alway try and improve your own trading skills you don't have to give it all your time. As they say trading is one of the hardest way to make money. So even when yah using copy trading losses can never be negligible.
