Nigeria as a whole suffer poverty as a result of a number of factors, including, limited jobs, low wages and safety nets. The minimum wage they are paying is very low and many people earn less than that imagine how can they survive.including the high rate of unemployment in the country even those with jobs still struggling to meet their needs. We lack social programs like education and healthcare training. What do you think is the major factor that contributes to poverty in Nigeria. The cause of low salary and high price of commodity is causing difficulty in many individuals. When you look at the price of cement now and look at the salary you earn monthly not even enough to feed. Nigeria among all other countries are the 3rd with poverty, very poor infrastructure and economic impact.

The cost of living in this country is making it difficult for people relying on minimum wage to survive. The situation of the economy is not looking favourable at all, exchange rate is always increasing, cost of living increasing but there is no increase in the minimum wage of workers, the rate of unemployment is increasing. I don't know what more should happen before the government will decide to fix things in this country

My brother the country need god because everyday things dey cost, people dey die and the government no dey help matter's they only care about their sef. They should also try and increase salary of works because this is affecting those working just like working with no profit you go find out say month end you don spend pass your two month salary, how you want take plan well and if you check most of the people work as a salary earners are doing very poorly.

D cost of living dey kill the living. No job at all for the countri and graduates dey do small jobs just to see small thing eat. For this countri, Phd holder dey earn chicken change wey no go fit do one person self and this people get family wey them need to take care of. One thing wey dey vex me the more na say even people wey get job still dey cry because everything don too cost. Things dey increase per seconds yet income just dey one place. Papa dey cry, mama dey cry, pikin don enter street go hustle because papa no fit meet up again. Even as we dey cry, one lawmaker dey say the 9million naira wey them dey give them monthly no even dey enough. Our leaders dey carry us catch cruise and na why wetin dey happen self no dey concern them. My advise na say make people no wait for government again just dey do wetin you fit do to survive but no go stain ur hand o.

The cost of living for this country is so hard no be lie the poverty rate too much, the unemployment for the country no work , youths leaders of tomorrow no get hope again na all this thing dey discourage many parents to train their children. It's very bad  government should see reason and focus on how to reduce the poverty rate.

The country as a whole is just annoying, all this once falls down to bad leadership, these people just make everything hard for the citizens, cost of living is very high, prices of things dey go up ×2 but they are not even increasing salaries, currently now, the average Civil servant salary no even reach to stuck him house with foodstuffs again, come to talk of other things.
Sha we just pray make e better for the country...

Poverty mostly in Nigeria because of the unemployment rate and the naira value to dollar, it's a great challenges we face in the country. Lack of facilities and resources for us to facilitate and carry on some process and projects by our self are not available in the country. We face a low economy people salary's are not even enough to fit up the bill's.
