I think some people still wait for the lower prices. this is true, but when no one knows the market will start to grow, it can happen in a few years, that have a lot of money, it is a good time to buy the top coins with very cheap prices.

I also find it funny for people nowadays that just say HODL with no concrete explanation, they just comes up with nothing but "it is so cheap" "last chance to buy".

While it is true that the current value seems low because of its ATH, I will never be certain that the price will never be this low again in the future.

If the price drops lower to say $1,000, many people will also say this line "This opportunity will not last forever because the market will certainly have to recover and make another bull run" or something that is similar.

You have well express your points and it is very unique especially to the guys who thinks that the bear run is an open opportunity to  buy more coins; unfortunately, like you rightly explained, Bitcoin or some altcoins may one day drop to less than a dallar and many will also say it an opportunity to buy.
I have in many post topics stated that there are no particular price that may not be an opportunity, it all depends on individual assessment of falling prices in as much as one is willing to buy at a particular time. If bitcoin drop futher, for instance, to $200, many people will still say the same thing, and goes on like this, may be when Bitcoin fall to less a cent.

Wow. I'm surprised that you said your new strategy is SODL. 
I think you have been bored with HODL strategy. However, HODL is the way to keep huge losses. If you run the strategy "SODL" right now, it means you buy in high rate and sell in low rate.

in the cryptocurrency world I think it was a challenge. where we must choose to surrender or continue even though we know that we can get the losses in it. it all depends on how much of our effort is to get the success. therefore, being patient and being careful is the most important key.

Wow. I'm surprised that you said your new strategy is SODL. 
I think you have been bored with HODL strategy. However, HODL is the way to keep huge losses. If you run the strategy "SODL" right now, it means you buy in high rate and sell in low rate. 

What I mean we should not repeat this HODL fault when the next bull runs.  Actually, I think HODL is not a strategy. My grandfather who knows nothing about cryptocurrencies can also HODL. What is the importance of my knowledge?

Short term investment are good for new coins entering the market because most of them follow the pump and dump trend right after they get listed on the market in order to be recognized. Smart investors can make short term investment with such coins but for the large cap coins like BTC, EOS, Ripple, EOS etc which are already on the market, it requires long term investment because they take time to achieve their bull markets.

I have to agree with this member, while the OP could well be right, unfortunately many people bought a lot of crypto higher are no longer believing this, even though as I said it could well be very true. Those who are still dollar cost averaging (instead of throwing all their money in) almost certainly don't believe this, hence averaging investing.

True. Those who believed in the "buy now, regret later" while bitcoin was at $5,000 are probably regretting now also.
People should be careful in making such statements especially when a lot of support lines have been breached and many predictions of bottom were already proven wrong.
