Ethereum Forum / Re: Eth Best?

it seems to me that BTC still the best

Very often, ofc. But the thing is no one can know anything for sure

Here’s a prediction you can bank on: 95 percent of predictions about what the price of an individual coin will be at the end of the year will be completely wrong.
And the five percent of predictions that actually come true will only be correct through sheer dumb luck. After all, even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold ?
« on: August 12, 2019, 01:07:11 PM »
Certainly in the past year gold has been the better bet, as gold has maintained its value while most cryptocurrencies (led by Bitcoin) have fallen heavily. And yes it is probably true that older investors like gold and the younger ones like cryptos. Gold has been around since ancient times and has credibility as an investment. Cryptocurrencies are very much new to the market and are a volatile asset, for now, that will one day find their place in the finance market. So probably a good idea to own both, just be careful to choose an established safe cryptocurrency.Given current sentiment I think gold will do better than Bitcoin in 2019. But I could easily be wrong. I am happy to hear your views in the comments section below.

NEM Forum / Re: Best nem wallet?
« on: August 09, 2019, 09:38:47 AM »
I would recommend you NEM NANO wallet. It is a desktop wallet, designed to make it faster and easy to store and manage the XEM tokens. This wallet is compatible with Mac, Windows and Linux operating systems. It allows you to send XEM, messages and mosaics to any address or namespace. The user interface and the setup process is pretty convenient for even beginners to access. You can even create a multi-signature or multi-user accounts, and the best part is that you can remain in total control over your private keys, making it one of the top XEM wallets in 2019, as per the NEM wallet reviews.

Stellar Forum / Re: What makes you invest in stellar?
« on: August 09, 2019, 09:33:00 AM »
Beyond investing, you can also very easily get FREE Stellar lumens (free XLM) with a unique Stellar lumens airdrop (XLM airdrop): Earn up to $50 worth of XLM on Coinbase. This is about 441 free lumens if you go by the current price. You’ll be asked to watch 5 short videos and answer 5 easy questions about Stellar lumens. It takes about 10 minutes (I timed it). In the last year, the price per coin has been about 4 times higher but it has come down considerably so for some it might look like an attractive buying opportunity. However, I’m not so sure at this point, given the underlying technology… I’d rather get free stellar lumens and hold it and or trade all or part of it for other alt coins that seem to have more potential.

Cardano Forum / Re: why invest in cardano?
« on: August 07, 2019, 09:30:57 AM »
Cardano is definitely worthy of a very moderate investment at least. Whether or not this coin will rival Bitcoin (in price, not purpose) is left to be decided.

Litecoin Forum / Re: How To Buy And Mine Litecoin (LTC)
« on: August 05, 2019, 01:00:11 PM »
Select the hardware you'll use to mine LTC, such as an ASIC miner or a GPU mining rig. Install any necessary software. Most ASIC miners come with pre-installed software, but if you're mining with a GPU, you'll need to download and install Litecoin mining software from a trusted provider. Start mining.

Bounty used to be very profitable, but now bounty seems to have gone down, most project treats their bounty hunters like slaves, even some projects don't pay their  bounty hunters and this has really make the bounty jobs looks sh*tty.

Monero, because its popularity and adoption has been on the rise in the virtual world primarily due to its anonymization characteristic. Monero transactions are un-linkable and untraceable as it uses the concepts of ring signatures and stealth addresses to hide the identities of the sender and the receiver.

There are several reasons why people should hold their tokens. Let’s see why.
1. The token value is likely to increase in the future when the team has implemented their roadmap.
2. Some projects don’t get the right attention from the beginning. It happened before that a qualitative project has remained silent and suddenly boomed when more people discovered it, having the price to skyrocket. For example Verge, the project remained silent for a couple of months and suddenly everyone jumped onto the project leading to a major spike in the price.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Which is the worst cryptocurrency
« on: July 31, 2019, 10:54:58 AM »
I think it is Ripple which has experienced a notable drop in its value against Bitcoin. Since the beginning of 2019, the cryptocurrency has lost almost 40 percent when trading against BTC

I am not a big fan of the government, the big banks or monopolistic corporation, that's why cryptocurrencies are perfect for me.

Cardano Forum / Re: Cardano advantages (ADA) ???
« on: July 29, 2019, 04:18:09 PM »
One of the main advantages of Cardano is Proof-of-stake (PoS). It offers higher speed and lower transaction costs. This provides a new rewards system for preventing attacks that include selfish mining.
