Forum related / Re: Campaigns and Forums Traffic
« Last post by bitmover on Today at 06:00:54 PM »
I find it very hard to find enough topics that interest me enough to comment on. I might get 12-15 comments in a week and I struggle to get that many, so for me we just don't have enough members creating new topics on different boards.
I think we need to discuss more about altcoin. When I joined here I thought that the discussions and comparisons about altcoin would be deeper, but look at the boards of Ethereum, Solana, XRP , Polygon , Cardano ,...etc. You will find them all about the price and not discussions about the blockchain or the developments that could occur. The situation is completely different on the Bitcoin board.

I agree 100%

We have SEO problems I think. It doesn't appear in search results.

Additionally,  I think there are too many boards and it is difficult to find topics and to find the correct place to post it.

Questions from newbies  like "I lost my ethereum using phantom and metamask  please help" are very good for SEEO, and we don't have those here..

If it's a type of scam, how is it realized?

I don't know exactly, but I believe this is one kind of scam attempt. Usually, these scammers use a note for the receivers so you can read it. They send those fake tokens to victims so they check if those coins have value or not and if they can be swapped for USDT or not. Sometimes those scammers provide links to their website so that the victim can visit their website and try to swap the coins.
If someone newbie who receive such amount on their wallet, they will be probably shocked, excited and be tempted to send the tokens to what exchange its available, then boom, fund wiped.
Well, some newbie have common sense and wary so they are saved on such tricks, DYOR will always save the day.

Gambling definitely leads to a change in style and habits, as you need to have certain character and lifestyle traits to participate in gambling. A player must be calm, for example - and this can only be achieved through autotraining - which means that you need to systematically exercise yourself
What you've said is entirely true but you've also forgotten the negative influences of gambling and only focused on the positive influences.
Have you ever noticed that most gamblers are often very secretive and confidential, especially towards their spouse and people closest to them.
Even when they weren't initially that way, but due to fear of being criticized and the stigma that comes with gambling, they become quite secretive in order to be able to cover their tracks. That my friend is a negative influence.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: All you need to know after Bitcoin halving
« Last post by Aanuoluwatofunmi on Today at 05:56:20 PM »
After the halving have been successfully achieved, we should bear in mind that we are expected to keep to what we are holding because we are not sure yet on when the market will pump more further to a new all time high, now it may seems to look as if there is nothing much to expect as we have been seeing a bear market recently, but anything can just change all of a sudden if we never give up on waiting for such opportunity to come.

Yes. I know about this and this is the first reason I didn't like tokens like ETH because it does not have a limit. The devs of ETH can now generate unlimited ETH and cash them out whenever they want. Even though I do not understand the mechanism, I believe it's possible for them. Not only ETh but tokens like Solana, BNB even Polkadot do not have any maximum supply limit. Which is too risky for the investors. But those tokens are on hype because of their ecosystem which keeps maintaining the demand on the market and the dev team can unlock new supply every few days if they want.

Very good work PX-Z

Why don't you create a page for each user, show specific boards post percentage, most mentioned addressed and stuff like that?
You could easily do that with the data you collected.

Airdrop & Bounty / Re: Coinmarketcap Elmas Toplama

Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling be a career?
« Last post by Dr.Bitcoin_Strange on Today at 05:49:41 PM »
Since there is such a thing as a "professional player", yes - gambling can be a career. The whole question is whether a person has the necessary qualities to become a professional gambler (stability, initial capital, good intuition, mathematical calculation of probabilities, and so on). Therefore, not everyone can become a professional gambler
Although gambling is mostly considered to be a recreational activity, that doesn't mean there aren't people who make a living from it. even though this isn't an advisable approach for everyone, because to be able to reach the point wheee gambling could be considered to be a career, you'll need to be a professional gambler and to be a professional gambler, it'll take a lot of experience with a combination of skill, traits and even resources too and not everyone can possess that.

They send those fake tokens to victims so they check if those coins have value or not and if they can be swapped for USDT or not. Sometimes those scammers provide links to their website so that the victim can visit their website and try to swap the coins. Here is the main part, when victims connect their web3 wallets to their website, these websites drain their entire wallet within a minute. So, you have to be careful when you connect your wallets to a website. Look at the screenshot below that I shared. This is one of my wallets with a bunch of phishing tokens with notes. Basically, they are requesting me to use their website to claim rewards! LOL. In your case, fortunately, someone leveled it as phishing already.

I noticed that I received some kind of airdrops on a Polygon address, although I'm not sure when I applied. It doesn't matter.

Can someone specifically explain what the purpose of these tokens is and why someone does this at all?
I have no intention of dealing with that token, but I see that it was sent to many addresses, I believe that someone will think that they can get something out of there.

The address from which it was sent is labelled as Fake_Phishing3312

If it's a type of scam, how is it realized?

I have received some tokens which have URL as their names, something like xxxairdrop.io or whatever.

So , those tokens can also be phising to infect your computer and steal your coins.
