If the investment depends on your intention and your confidence in the market.
If the market you think is supportive for trading, maybe you can invest now and if you support it then you better put your money in the BANK.

If you believe you can try it but many ico projects fail due to bad markets. Investors will not be interested in buying tokens from the ICO project because it is very risky.

It's up to you buddy, But in investing to an ICO's I suggest do a deep research about the project so you will avoid some risk. For me instead of investing at ICO's while the market is down why don't try to buy some good coins now why they still have a low price because the risk there is very little like investing on Eth.

I think that will depend on the ICO that you wish to invest. Consider to make an inquiry and research on that particular ICO prior to just invest without knowing first it's information. Background checking is very important that you should not miss as there are many scam ICO's that are in the market.

I think most of the current ICO is hype, and a lot of ICO has fallen below the issuing price.
If you want to invest in ICO, I hope you can buy tokens directly on the exchange.

I wouldn't recommend ICOs right now with everything dumping since these are the investments that will get you rekt the fastest. I wouldn't even recommend altcoins unless you really know what you're doing with stop losses etc, even with a few altcoins outperforming BTC at the moment.
I lost a fair amount of profit from ICO investing this year, but could of gone either way since I narrowly missed out on Quarkchain that was a 10x overnight :(
Bitcoin is risky enough at the moment, but if you do manage to get a good position you can always diversify into alts after that. If you don't already have a position in BTC I'd definitely recommend one, but not 100%, more like laddering positions in the likelihood the price drops further.
Either way I'd keep an eye on the SEC decision over the VanEck-SolidX Bitcoin ETF that's on September 21st if I'm not mistaken.

This doesn't work the way you say. Any time is successful for investment and any time is unsuccessful for investment. You must evaluate the project individually. You can even invest even if the Cryto market is now low. If you are going to spend just 1-2 months ICOs project. Do not invest because they are really affecting the crypto market. I advise to you join or invest in ICOs for 4-6 months duration, for sure you can earn more than you invest.

I agree, and was shocked by how low litecoin was, so I bought a whole litecoin, something I couldn't do a while back, when the price was very high. Definitely a good time to stock up for favorite coins.

Any time can be a right time to invest in crypto as long as their prices are low and the coin you want buy could give you good profits in the future. For me, it is more preferable to buy bitcoin today because its price is still at 6K$ level. And I strongly believe that we can get big profits after HODLing them for a couple of months.
