Yes,  I think It is true,  XMR s good coin,  but Ethereum  is more popular  and  more potential  than XMR.  But I think XMR will have great future,  But It will take several years again.  Because  I see bitcoin,  ethereum and ripple is the top 3 coin

XMR is also good but I think ETH is the best option since it has much more demand than XMR dose. So please do some more research before you invest in any crypto market. But if you are a long term investor then XMR will be a good option because it's still cheap.

I think It depends what do you like. If you like monero for invest, you can  invest in monero. But I prefer invest in ethereum, the reason why ?? Because ethereum is more popular .

Ethereum and Monero are both great coins out there. Despite the fact that Monero has a strong privacy, I think I will still go for Ethereum because;
Ethereum, being a decentralized system, is fully autonomous and is not controlled by anyone at all. It has no central point of failure, as it is being run from thousands of volunteers’ computers around the globe, which means it can never go offline. Moreover, users’ personal information stays on their own computers, while content, such as apps, videos, etc., stays in full control of its creators without having to obey by the rules imposed by hosting services such as App Store and YouTube.

It is right mate,  Monero  is good privacy.  But I think Ethereum  is still better  than monero.  I am fanatic ethereum  and always invest  in ethereum.  I have gotten  alot benefits  from ethereum  and enjoy  day trading  with monero.

If you much money, You can buy both. Monero is good for long term investment  and ethereum  is for short term.  I have used ethereum  for daily  trading  and still hold my monero.  I hope Itbis the right way to get profit.
