I am not sure about 2019 being a tough year for beginners. I think they came in at a better time. If they bought BTC at $3K or Eth at $100, they would have doubled their capital by now. Frauds have also lessened I think since there are more proactive people exposing them. The new sales system (IEO/STO) does not necessarily hurt them either.

Now again strategy changes this year people believe more on IEOs and STOs. Now investors are also become smart.
