Yes. Very long hold may year 2020. End of 2018 eth- 2000. end of 2019 ETH 5000. end of 2020 ETH 10,000.

I'm agree with this guy. However I think 1000$ will be truly realistic in 2018. Like BTC that holding on 12k$ till NY, ETH won't grow as well. Imo.

Nothing is impossible in the world of blockchain technology.... It was 230 for a 3mnt now it kissing 500 ETH is proving sturdiness towards bitcoin I dont see it as10k but a clean competitor to btc

It might get to 10,000 or even 100,000 but it may also fall to 10 so if you plan to invest then you know you are not guaranteed any profits. only invest what you can afford to lose.

I believe the use of eth in most icos should have increased the price of eth but that isn't the case. Now that it has started rising, I have hope that it will go to the moon soon. We will see it hit the 1000s and then the 10,000s soon

Yes. but might take some time. If you look at the life of BTC, it has similarities with ethereum. Ethereum has the Market Cap and features so I think it will even pass $10,000 in the near future.

I think right now $10k is a definite possibility. Look at all the ICOs getting $100+ million. Even Vitalik doesn't understand that he created the platform $Billion companies will be built on.

For me i dont think its gonna happen soon , ethereum will have to face so scalibility issue soon and it will impact the price , but im on the hope side

I don't know why people are complaining. The market is good, I mean in the last month Eth rose from $790 to $1490, had drop to $847 and now back over $1000. At no point did Eth drop under the initial price and in the next few weeks it is likely that we will see all time high. The market is still new (crypto currencies generally) and it is normal that wew will see fluctuations. If you take for example the US stock exchange, the capitalization is $64.854 trillions while the crypto market have capitalization of "only" 569 billion. We are still at stage where there are relatively small number of users, so we will see big price veriations.
pp. This is the best time to go into crypto. We are the pioners, in the next 10 years we will see boom in the crypto world, that will make the prices of today, to seem like they are bargain.This is the time to become the next millionaires. We missed the first boom, but the second and the biggest is at the beginning just now. And if you look at the prices of tokens I don't know if you can find one coin, which is not a scam, that have drop in the price on a yearly basis and some of them have absurd returns in the region of 14 000%. Even Eth was only $10 at the beginnig of 2017.

Looking at the total supply of EHT multiplying this with 10.000$/ETH I do not believe this is a realistic network value we will see in the near future. Yes I believe threre is still room to grow, but 10k I simply do not see.

In the near future as you said, I also see no 10k forthcoming. However, giving it a wide futuristic view, it can fall within the "everything is possible" hypothesis.

Tough to say.. I think bitcoin is about to rally over the next 6 months which will keep ETH around the 900-1500 area for the near future but then ETH will rally to catch up near the end of this year.. to around 3000-3500.. 10,000 is certainly possible but its gonna take quite a while.. I wouldn't say before 2021 that its possible.. but I've been wrong before.

In the short term not likely simply due to the number of available coins. A coin price of $10,000 would mean a market cap of $997 Billion. Now there will be a time when crypto markets will amount to Trillions and Eth will definitely share a large chunk of the cap if the current momentum is maintained and all fixes are made.

Ethereum is crypto and everything can happen to a cryptocurrency as the price is determined by people who are using it. If everyone decides to use only eth, or everyone decides to buy eth at the above price, that would be the price and nothing more or less.

I think it's pretty optimistic to think that ETH will top 10k, especially since it currently is the top platform for a large number of tokens out there. But who's to say that someone doesn't come up with a better platform, it's what NEO is trying to do. ETH is relatively young and has alot of growth potential. Waiting for the transition to POS to see where it takes it.

I think we'll definitely see ETH hit $10,000 in the years to come. With the ETH platform being used to build so many businesses, it will only increase in value as a platform (product) as well as a currency.

10,000$ is possible worth of 1eth. Eth have a bright future and good potential. In addition the integrity of eth was trusted and trustful. It takes more time to hit that price.

Ethereum does not have a max supply.
I recommend setting MAX_SUPPLY = 120,204,432, or exactly 2x the amount of ETH sold in the original ether sale.
So let's say the max supply is 120, 204, 432 and you are expecting $10,000 per ETH means the total market worth of ETH will be 1,202,044,320,000.
We are talking about 1 trillion 202 billion 44 million 320 thousand dollar !!!
Do you think ETH worth that? If then, no problem. ETH will worth $10,000

Sometimes we have to be real in some of the things.ETH will not reach 10k now but maybe in some few years to come it can be very possible.Because this is the second most powerful coin on the chain and this shows it has great potentials about the future prices increaments to 10k.

although this is an old topic I wanted to write down my latest opinions as well.
If a huge bull comes along, which will x10 the price of BTC, yes it is very likely to 10k. *the is my latest opinion before I thought it is not possible
but if the crash continues and btc goes to 2-3k's - I hope not - it won't be likely.
Because if 2-3k's come along, this means that the bear season will continue for a long time. ETH will have many rivals by than, therefore the price won't go that far.
