As of now the transaction speed, Blockchain still in the development to overtake the transaction speed of the credit card technology. However Blockchain is the most secure and most accurate transaction verification technology developed.

Limit on the size of the block. In fact, this is a limitation of the speed of the blockchain work. The larger limit on the block size, the more transactions can be stored in the blockchain the faster speed.
