No, it's just 2 different coins. Bitcoin is digital gold. Ethereum is a platform for creating tokens. They cannot be compared.

I really didnt like what the SEC guy in the US said the other day... it doesn't really make me feel comfortable that Ethereum is more than likely going to be viewed as a security... only time will tell what the ramifications if any will result from it.. but it has me a bit worried .

That's true for ethereum have its own designated purpose. It will never be bitcoin in fact there is potential but until on that presumption alone and it won't ever be bitcoin.

Better luck for ethereum future. There are more positive news about ethereum so I think it will be normal if ethereum will perform better but it wouldn't be the next btc.

I think it's quite difficult and not as easy as we imagine. bitcoin before becoming what it is today surely first to have such a long journey until finally, she was able to hang on to its peak. It may just be possible but it takes a long time.

That will be the wildest dream anybody can have in the cryptocommunity. First of all bitcoin is not going to go obsolete or out of existance so why then do you speculate that ethereum is going to next bitcoin and more to the point btc is worth over six times than ethereum so i don't see how it is going to be the next bitcoin.

It is possible for etherium to become same as bitcoin but not exactly because every crypto currencies has its unique differences, yet only i think in crypto value or price. But that would take a long time and process to stand like a bitcoin. For the past few years etherium has contious highest price in the market and if that would continue ahead then etherium would be the next bitcoin eventually.

Ethereum is not becoming a next btc because it is always a next o btc. Btc is really big and eth is not that big as btc, the price of eth and btc has really a verry big difference they don't have the same price and popularity so then I believe that eth will not going to be the next btc.

If I think, Eth won't be able to beat Bitcoin, or the price exceeds the price of Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin is the King of digital Cryptocurrency coins, and this is hard to beat. but Eth will be the best Altcoin this year, even though I know Eth's price is currently down.

Yes, Eth is going to be the next BTC as it is one of the strong coins. Although the price is showing fluctuation none of the other coins have shown the progress which Ethereum has. Currently, 1 BTC is equivalent to 31.6601 ETH.

I think this is just a dream making Ethereum next to bitcoin and even looking at the market situation of two crypto currency the market price of bitcoin is too high @ $6500 compare to a very low price of ethereum @ $200 only and may be it happens but it takes 100 years of waiting to become true.

In terms of ranks Ethereum is already next or second to bitcoin but if you mean is if bitcoin will disappear and will be replace by Ethereum that is very impossible because bitcoin will never be superseded by any altcoins including ethereum because no matter how many ethereum you kept still it will be traded or sell it for bitcoin for fiat and that makes bitcoin value to become more stable and strong.

That is the big problem on the Ethereum platform of smart contracts, scam projects can easily create their own token and
start an initial coin offering and this scam ICOs should be stopped. Ethereum has an awesome developer and I know that

And if you'll see at coin market cap Ethereum has fallen sharply than Bitcoin it is like everytime Bitcoin losses 1% Ethereum
will follow and it will lose 2% of its total value and this really affects every coin below Bitcoin. And I don't think and see

Yeah, I agree with you. It seems hard for Ethereum to overtake Bitcoin. There are many supports for Bitcoin that make it survives and be stronger for years. I think as long as Bitcoin holds its principles (https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Principles_of_Bitcoin), it will always be the number 1 in crypto space.
