I was editing a topic when I saw the option "Merge topic". ???
So, I want ask this question:
What 's the purpose of this option and how you can "Merge topics"??.

the used of "merge topic" is by merging two the same topics into a single one.

Actually I can say that the merge topic option is to combine two or more topics into a single one, and the purpose for this merging is actually to make a particular topic deeper and more useful to the readers.
