I think ETH has a bright future.

I think there will be a big rush this spring and we'll see a big push upward in price.

Because either has the solid chance for large gains and to make you some major money, I would stay in both, but I would lean to ETH, since it has all the advantages you yourself just named.

I think we need to tread lightly and keep the SEC from calling them securities in the USA, since that would cause a LOT of problems.

I recommend everyone read a bit about the Howey Test and try to look for tokens that pass. Especially because, even though the USA not the world, there's a BIG influence and what makes coins and tokens great is the fact that they are different from stocks and bonds.

I think the future is VERY bright, and that we are on the cusp of a HUGE change in mindset about what constitutes money. Ride that wave and you will end up rich, ignore it and you will end one of the poor workers who are ever looking to the big gold pyramid they can never get into.

Lots of great advise in this thread. But I wanted to add, make sure your coin has some purpose or utility, that it has a future, so to speak. And that they try to actually stick to goals, and that they have a good team who knows what they are doing. Those things, combined with GRET PR will carry many coins through tough times, and make them skyrocket during good ones.
