I think Ethereum has a golden period, because many projects have ERC20 tokens and ETH is main payment method, so the price of ETH will be continuously pushed up. I think ETH will have the same price increase as BTC in 2018, which is more than 10 times.

I am thinking the same - it will easily hit 2000$ by the end of this year.

Is it going to overcome Bitcoin - not so sure - at least not this year.

If i understand u clerly..... Etherium is currently valued at $1,065.12.... Only if u forgot to add another 0. but in an honest opinion, I see ETH going her towards $2000 if not it will surpass $1500

But on the other hand with prices of the region of 10k, what will be the transaction fee? And if you have to pay $20 for transaction on ETH will you use it or better yet, if you are developer would you use the eth network with these prices or will you use some of the new cheaper alternatives. Lets not forget that these new tokens are sold to people who may invest anythink from $20 upwards at ICO's and if you have to transfer ETH for $50 and have to pay $20 and at the other end, tokens worth $20 have to be used for transaction to your wallet, you are paying $70 for something worth $30. Is it worth it?
And what will happen to eth after the next crypto kitties? These are questions that need to be answered before we can talk about eth price at 10k.

If the ETH price reaches 10k, ETH will no longer be a common intermediary but will become a tool to accumulate assets and be used only in large transactions. Role of intermediary token will be transferred to a new token faster and more efficiently, such as Waves / Universa ...
