Should I invest in an ICO?

    I have some spare eth and btcs and I am searching for an alternative way to invest, is ICO really worth it? and if it is, I heard there are scams, what can you recommend I should do?

IMHO, I don't think ICOs are worth it right now. ICO investing is at an all time low now due to the increased risk and lack of returns: https://www.icodata.io/stats/2018
I'm sure ICOs will pick back up again once Bitcoin returns to a bear market, but at the moment it's high risk low reward.

Yes It is true. Too many ICOs are scams. I think You must be carreful to choose ICO. You should learn the white paper, project purpose and the team.

there are many ico that are legit and there are also many ico who are scam. it all depends on how we can choose ico well. I think investing in ICO is a profitable investment because there are many ico who have tokens that have good prospects. but, we must be careful when choosing it.

It should be great to invest in some altcoins under top 10 in rank rather than investing in an ico which can make you lose since you are just new in crypto. Before investing it is better to educate yourself first in investment system in crypto.

Not for the moment. The crypto market is currently experiencing a decline. no one will be interested in buying ico. More people buy potential coins such as btc and eth.

before you invest in ICO it's better to read whitepaper and web first. You can see who the team is behind the project. after you see who their team is, please find out if their team is truly genuine, not fake.
and you can also see what their project goals are. after you know everything you can start investing in the ICO.
