why do we need to do kyc? to verify the person? or to collect information you got?

I do not like this know your customer thing so basically we are on the same page. But I also think the purpose behind KYC is not something we can just ignore. The crypto world has been accused of providing a safe haven for criminals. And kyc will help disprove this accusation since crypto project developers want to ensure that their clients or investors are not involved in money-related crimes.

Some agreed and some disagreed, the reason they did not agree because their identity problems did not want to be published. But if I think KYC is good, because it can prevent someone playing fraudulently in the hunt for Bounty. The original intention behind KYC which is to no the identity of your customer is not bad but my fear in recent times is the abuse of it by some bounty managers who deliberately refuse to disclose KYC from the onset but will do so when the bounty is over and unexpected by bounty hunters just to make them forfeit their token, at times they introduce a complicated KYC these are all my fears.

I agree in terms of investing, like if you are an ICO investor. But only with huge amounts, let's say more than 5000$ dollars of investment. I disagree for bounty hunting, it is totally unnecessary. They earn tokens and hence money laundering or financing terrorism is not possible.

I dont like and prefer giving away my identity documents. In the wrong hands such as dark web things might not end well. Even if I trust a project or a website that doesnt mean that they will get hacked the other day and my data will just vanish..

I agree if they can promise us not to sell our data and they are going to pay if our info is leaked. I know its for anti money laundering but if only below 10k USD i think its better not to do KYC cause its only a small portion. If someone must really do money laundry, of course the amount must be a lot. isnt it?

KYC(Know Your Customer) to me is essential for the upcoming ICOs especially those offering bounty campaigns. Its one of the major tools to get those using multiple accounts in the bounties so I like the KYC idea.

If it is used for a large money transaction, such as a trading account on the Exchange or participating in an ICO, then it can be said to agree to use KYC because if money laundering results from corruption or crime, we can track all of that through KYC.

For Airdrop or Bounty that have a little nominal it is not necessary and I suggest not to follow a job like that which puts your life at risk.

i also don't really agree to charging kyc,
because we have to keep our identities secret to others, but if indeed the project is very good and the team is also a trusted team. i think it is not a problem to fill in Kyc, it is also necessary to avoid participants who commit fraud and harm some parties.

Not at all, I've dealt with a few scam bounties already and the idea that some scam bounty in another country gets my credentials is just unacceptable.  I'm never going to use KYC under any circumstances as a result.
