It is a fool proof strategy, once you have a crystal ball. It is easy to state 'buy low, sell high', but as you rightly say, not easy to do. Nothing wrong with the theory though, and it definitely beats blindly trading without any strategy whatsoever. actually not difficult. Because all it takes is a greater sense of patience. do not be easily tempted by a momentary increase. Or do not be easily afraid of the drastic price reduction. One of my friend answer this question for me. Trading requires a high level of analysis and instincts. Sometimes luck is also needed because there is no easy way to determine if you can really sell a certain amount of coin and buy again. Basically this is the most common thing to do for beginners in order to earn profit. But the strategy here is to find the lowest coins value that exist in the market and  buy most of those coins then sell it again from the time when a similar coin value increases it value.

One rule which helps in buying low and selling high is avoid being greedy. What I do is if I want to buy a coin, I do not buy with all that I have set aside for that coin. I divide the money into 3 or 4, and make purchase with a part. Then when I see it has fallen again, I buy again. But if it increase even by 20% I sell. If it keeps falling I continue to buy until it reaches the fallen threshold. So I do not buy at once since you can't accurately predict the prices.

I think that's a very powerful way to avoid future losses because by buying coin prices in low conditions they are quite patient to hold assets to achieve success once the exchange rate rises.
