Bitcoin NFT, also known as the Bitcoin Ordinals protocol, is a method of creating encrypted asset content on the Bitcoin blockchain. It was introduced by Casey Rodarmor in January 2023 with the aim of creating permanent art, text, or video existence, which is called "inscription". While some people view BRC-20 as just hype, this protocol still provides more ecological opportunities for the Bitcoin blockchain, even though it cannot compete with Ethereum's ecosystem.Source:
