Since the day one I was curious how the karma thing works. I then learnt that someone will be able to see the Thank means positive karma and Punish means negative karma buttons when they will reach Sr. Member. I now can see the feature. I have already sent a positive karma to a user for the constructive comments he/she made. Hope I can utilize it positively. Those who are curious like me (yet to be ranked Sr. Member), this is how it looks like...

Once you will become a Sr. Member then you will have this feature. It's pretty simple. Pressing Thank button will send a positive karma for the user and pressing Punish button will send a negative karma for the user. Once you find a good quality/constructive post then it's advised to send positive karma means press the Thank button.

NO Thank/Punish buttons have no effect on the Provider. Only Receiver gets +/- Karma.

basically you just give +/- karma, don't you think that their should be an effect to that so people will think carefully before using it.
And also when karma is given does it show on the karma signal of your profile the reason why karma is given?

I know the feeling about forgetting to give out positive karma, with power comes responsibility though  I'd recommend spending a small amount of time each week searching for posts that deserve karma to dish it out. The Beginners forum is a great place to find members contributing to the forum by making it a welcoming space for newbies as well as answering their questions. This is where I go, in order to encourage this friendly atmosphere. Our helpful members are aware of this, so it's good to encourage this engagement with new members in my opinion.

Also, let's be honest, how often to you stumble across karma-worthy posts You have to look for them...

nice topic to make us all wonder that we need to look to the positive side of things... karma can be a really good thing if used fairly... we all tend to slip into thinking only on the negative karma that so many spammers deserve, and we forget that positive karma can be an incentive and help to create a different community...
crypto world is a baby and can lead us to evolution in several roads... we might even have the power to change the world together... but we need to use our mind and heart and don't let things evolve into the same old s.it...

No, I did not notice any effect of my account. You can send as many as you want both negative and positive karma. So be generous

Not sure, but I guess a limited supply would be nice. I have already send a lot of positive karma to lots of you

Congratulations for achieving higher rank. Now you can enjoy the power of karma, please don't misuse it.

You should use karma feature to award members for good and punish for bad things. This could be everything, not only a post. I think you will master this after some time. I always advise to think twice before punish somebody. Rewarding is not harmful at all but still use it wisely.
