Title: Are old coins no more profitable?
Post by: Domithra on September 04, 2018, 03:14:43 AM
It does not matter how old a coin is on the market. What matters more is its current performance. A coin can be newly listed yet perform poorly without even reaching half way of its ICO price, leaving investors in despair. A coin like Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency (oldest) yet performing perferctly fine on the market.

Yes of course, even if it is a old coins but when this coin have a good function, it is more profitable. Make sure to buy it to its low price and sell high.

that is right, a coin project can be said to be successful, if the coin has a fairly old age and still has good performance, thus building high trust for investors. not a few new coins even ico has not ended but has surrendered in the middle of the road, this has led to a decline in investor confidence in new coins that are just running.

for us bitcoin is also the most profitable and oldest altcoin, so I think bitcoin is also a profitable altcoin in the future.

Old and established coins are still profitable, not necessarily more profitable than the new ones. The old and dead coins is of course another matter  ;D

I don't think like that, I think old coins are still profitable. maybe there are some old coins my price is down, but in my opinion this is a natural thing. just try to look at the data on the graph.

Old coins don't always profit. There are many coins that currently appear, some of them have very good performance. Unique coins, having good and strong technology, they are coins that can survive in the future.

I don't know about old coins no profitable. But yes, you are right about Bitcoin, It is the first cryptocurrency, and the oldest coin, has the highest price till now. Old coin or new coin is the same chance to be profitable.

It really depends on the coin/token itself as you proposed. I have seen many new projects fail miserably, trading at 5% of ICO price, which is mostly the fault of the project team, if you ask me...or a scam. But some really old coins still hold on besides bitcoin. It's an interesting world, this crypto.  ;D

If the coin has money that is old enough and still has good performance, then you will have high returns for investors. not a few new coins even ico has not ended but gave up halfway, this has led to a decline in investor confidence in new coins that have just run.

No one can judge a coin from age to determine prices. all depends on how many enthusiasts hold the coin. And according to the fact many are more interested in investing in old coins. More people believe in old coins because they have proven to be profitable and are available on many exchanges.

With that kind of condition, it ,a lead that old coin to drive to die. However, actually, it depends on how the team and developer will maintain and control the coins after ICO, especially after listed on the exchange. When the coins have the great volume, ready product, and also price control, I'm sure that even it is an old coin, it will grow or at least survive in the market.

there is no definite answer. There are "old" projects, which are still interesting to investors and speculators. Where development continues. As a rule, you can not do 10X on such a grid anymore, since they have high trapping. For example,Nem

I don't think it's a problem with old coins. Now the market is very depressed and all the coins are falling. If the market is corrected, the old coins will recover soon.

Old Coins are still dominant in cryptomarket because These coins get people's confidence so many people invest in old coin then old Coins has high market capability and popularity therefore still old Coins are profitable.

Precisely old coins are the most legendary and highly profitable coins. Because the development has been very advanced than before. The number of enthusiasts also triggers old coins into good and potential coins as well as to find big profits there, just like Bitcoin.

I don't think so because Amazon also droped more than 90% during dot com bubble but when we see now the price of Amazon that doesn't matter at all. And I am not saying every token or coin will recover to their previous high but i know some of the projects are really have huge potential and they are working hard to bring proper infrastructure to us in due time without concentrating on stabilising market fluctuations.

That's right, new coins do not ensure that they are the best and can survive well in the market. There are still lots of old coins that are still profitable like Ethereum, Ripple and others.

Old coins are still more profitable. Most people believe old coins.Old coins always survive. Now the price of all coins in the market has decreased. I hope the price will rise soon.I think the price of bitcoin will rise to $15,000 this year.

It does not matter how old a coin is, if only it has a purpose and it is used for a product, it will be expensive since the demand will be high. Imagine Bit coin being the oldest coin, it still has a high price because it is being used.

Not all of old coins doesn't have value, some are performing better than new altcoins. If I'm not mistaken bitcoin is one of the oldest coin and yet until now it is performing very well.

I think the old coins and new coins from the ICO for me are also good, we can get a lot of profits, but I prefer coins that were launched for a long time, so I can get a faster profit. especially bitcoin and ethereum.

There is no correlation between the age of the currency and its performance. There are numerous currencies in the top 30 that are extremely young (especially in comparison with BTCs age), yet their performance is enviable.

Yes! Performance is very important as far as coins/tokens are concerned. Currently, the ages of coins/tokens has not really made any difference because, some coins that were lunched 3 to 5 years ego are not living up to the expectations of it's followers, investors, and traders. Bitcoin, for instance, has been doing very well having been consistent, at least for it price and it volume, as per coinmarketcap ranking, are very good.
In addition, it is sad that most coin/token that were lunched just last year, are performing more than those that has been around for more than 4years. Most coins are performing on volume but their prices remains static, and i think it doe not profit investors or traders even Holders. I also think that coins/tokens ranking on volume only are not performing in my opinion.

Nope, I don't think that it is about the time of existence of a coin. I think it is due to the marketing strategy and the product of a coin.

Old coins are still profitable and useful that is why they stay. All cryptocurrency prices goes down and this is normal. Wait for the price of bitcoin to go up and maybe those old coins will go up too.

Nope, bitcoin is one of the oldest coin in cryptocurrencies and it is still profitable to date, although there's a lot of new potential coins in the market but the old coins has become more popular and demand as day goes by.
