Length of a bounty is not really relevant, it's all about the quality of a project. There will always be a risk that it may not work out, even if a project isn't a scam. I think every single project has different goals. There some project teams set a softcap target for their project but others run the project without targets for softcap or hardcap. We cannot determine whether it is good or not by analyzing time period of a bounty program.

In any case, even if you do not get anything, you have not spent much time, and the bounty that lasts up to 200 days, they are exhausting, and even if then you do not get anything, so the tokens are worth nothing, especially in the case of the signature company.
