I would rather invest in good but undervalued projects like Syscoin. Also those less than $1 coins or tokens with low to medium market cap.

With free $ 500, I would prefer to invest in promising startups with a global goal. But I would not forget about old coins, such as Bitcoin, etherium. I would keep 30% in my portfolio of this amount in old coins
