Title: BTC showing some strength, will it hold on?
Post by: TomPluz on December 05, 2022, 06:18:52 AM

As of this moment that am writing this thread, Bitcoin is standing at more than $17K - to be specific now at $17,370. And this actually very good considering  that days ago it touched the low point of $15K. personally, this is making me sad because when BTC got into $16,300 I sold my little and experimental BTC at Binance for a gain of just $9...never expecting that from then on it would be moving to the $17K zone and staying there for some two or three days.

Now, the question is: Do you think BTC can be hold on to this level or will it then start to make a good upward moves towards more? Or will it be going south again?

I see bitcoin is remaining the King of crypto currency and always being the favourite choice for investment.

Crypto is exiting and should be handle with care and strong will not blame and not to pity yourself from what you've you done. Thought sometimes we cannot defy the fact that we felt messing the good opportunity, yet we still here aiming once again to hit the target mark.

Dump and pump. Decrease and increase is normal. You gain, and you lose. You might gain small or big the important is you are winning and not losing. Bitcoin is predicted to decrease and increase but for us small fish, we don't know what the big whales planning next whether they might hardly pump nor dramatically dump BTC.

If bitcoin keeps its decline in the market, this means it is necessary for the further growth of the entire cryptocurrency. But so far, it is not worth talking about the fact that there will be a growth of the cryptocurrency soon.

Bitcoin has very little strength on the current market trends and I think there are no big buying volumes to push the price higher. I doubt if there any institutions buying btc on the current situation. If institutional investors are buying, we will see a good pump and there is also a general sentiment on the bitcoin bottoming target which is giving the market a more bearish scenario. Many analysts think that the bear run will still continue unto next year, a situation that may prolong a downward trends.

This is the time that we need to hold the BTC coin and if you have some more money then we need to buy some more BTC and hold it still the price will not touch the $100,000. This time in the market all the coins values is very low but in future it will go high so much and we need to buy the BTC now and just hold for 1 year.

Sure, I will hold my bitcoin and several potential altcoins at winter season.
Maybe until the next year 2023 or 2024.
Let's see the bitcoin progress at 2023, keep hold of sell it.

Not really necessary for further growth as we can see increase is on the move. From 15k now at 17k. Bitcoin is showing some strength to tell every hopeless that pump is still possible.

And Yes, Growth is what we are expecting after the hard dump. Though Bitcoin is volatile yet potential investment for long term.

Well, it is obvious that the market, in general, is still in a bear trend and as some most have predicted, we can still see a downward price of Bitcoin towards the $12k range which is the red line that will now act as a major support and the stochastic RSI is flashing overbought sign in the Daily Bitcoin price chat. Let's see what happens in the days/weeks to come.

Now the price of Bitcoin again fell a little to $ 16,845, on Coinmarketcap almost all cryptocurrency is again in red. Cryptowinter continues until we see real changes in the direction of improving the situation. However, I do not think that a bear cycle will last for years. Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market as a whole can change the fall and stagnation to growth at any time. Now there are both negative and positive forecasts for the further price movement of this market. While there is nothing unusual in the cryptocurrency market, a large price volatility is always inherent in this market.

I don't see a constant increase in BTC price, it still stays around $16k - $17k. I am not sure that there is a sign of the price strength of BTC this month, seems the price to stuck at the current price range. Maybe there will be a better price strength in early of next year, but it only happens if there is no bad issue around crypto and BTC.

Looks like it will happen if inflation gets higher, as I see, Bitcoin has touched $16k usd in few days and it's a strong price support, many observers predict Bitcoin price but all that is just prediction and hopefully BTV price doesn't drop to $10k usd.

Well, nobody has the exclusivity when it comes to opinion as where Bitcoin can be going in 2023. What I know is that when self-proclaimed experts are predicting it can go south, in the past Bitcoin was at the north. We have to remember that Mark Mobius is just another man in this market and I think he is just lucky that he was given the chance to say his piece. But what about our piece? Well, since we are not that popular we just remain silence and has the right not to believe him or anyone for that matter. Let's see things as they unfold in 2023...but personally I am seeing some doldrum days for crypto in general before it can be exciting again. And I think this can be the same mood for all investment vehicles including stocks and gold...not unless there can be some "crash" in a part of the economy.

The current crypto winter has been going on for more than a year, which means that it should be nearing its end. Now the price of bitcoin continues to be held at the level of more than 17,000 dollars, that is, its price rate is generally stable, despite some serious negative news in the cryptocurrency market. But we are on the eve of Christmas and New Year holidays. And this means that people will spend more of their money on gifts and products for the holiday than on cryptocurrency. Therefore, I expect that the price on the market will remain approximately at this level for several more months, and somewhere in February it may begin to grow upwards. But the cryptocurrency will always be quite strongly influenced by various news factors, which cannot be foreseen in advance.

BTC is moving between $15500 to $17000 and many high investors are taking benefit from this gap, as it is more than enough to grab a good profit from an almost $1500 To $2000 difference.

You are right for daily or short-term traders and this could also be a good position to buy for the long term too even though some analysts are equally saying that the price might go down to around $12k-$10k, however, looking at it from a long term investment perspective, since we believe that BTC could see a new ATH of above $100k when that happens, buy @ $17k isn't a bad idea.

How sure are you that the end of bear is coming to an end? Price increase for 3 days is not the indication of bullish market. Though we really hope that the end of this year is good for Bitcoin and us. However, we aren't sure if this is just a foggy moment here it is now and will gone later. Victory is for all winners and losers in crypto.

Now bitcoin is showing a weekly price increase of about 8 percent, the price increase of ethereum is about 9 percent. Bitcoin has also already surpassed the price of $18,000. But to draw any conclusions, you need a longer observation of the market with a similar result. In any case, we are not seeing a further drop in prices, and this is already encouraging.
We will soon be approaching the Christmas and New Year holidays. Usually at this time, people spend more money and invest less in cryptocurrency. Therefore, I do not expect any significant changes in this market in the next few months.

Bitcoin has been very tricky lately. But for some reason, I still see potential in it, so I plan to invest in it. Of course, the fact that it has grown by 1k recently does not show anything, but if you add to this the truth of how long bitcoin has been falling in general, then there is hope that it will start to rise again soon. So I am betting on February 2023 and plan to invest some of my savings using a bitcoin mixer (https://coinomize.biz). I've started to worry about my privacy and personal security when transacting with bitcoins, so this service will not be superfluous.

What exactly are you saying?, it's February 2024, and not February 2023 buddy, did you even take a look at the bitcoin market to have a glimpse of what the current price is before posting this comment?
Or is bitcoin still sold for $17k right now in the place where you live? If you don't mind, you should point me to that exchange where bitcoin is sold for $17k at the moment, I will buy up all the bitcoins on that exchange, and if I don't have enough money to, I will take a loan  ;D.

If you previously bought Bitcoin at a price of 17,000 USD, then your profit is now more than 100%, but I am also very worried about this position.

Exactly the same and true according to you, we are looking for safety by selling a little Bitcoin at that time so we can buy more when the price drops, but in fact until now Bitcoin continues to rise. ;D

The price of Bitcoin has never leveled off. So Bitcoin 16 was touched but only for a short time. And after settling down there for a short period of time the price of Bitcoin has come back to the highest level now with the current price of 43k Bitcoins. So don't ever give up on small gains in Bitcoin, the price of Bitcoin is always on the upswing.  It is better to hold it for a certain number of years to get maximum benefits. Bitcoin price halving peak will complete.

5hat is why we can't compare bitcoin to other cryptocurrencies, when it's dumping, we are likely to have more of it resistance and the certainty for it's rising again, we don't have to fear in such case because we will always have the best opportunity to recover from every dip it has been, most of the investors don't have this fear of missing out, because they have the confidence in bitcoin than they with any other altcoins when they are falling in market price.

Everyone was feeling anxious including me as well, I saw BTC going back to $17k and I did not believe my eyes because I never thought after achieving so much and touching at ATH of around $70k BTC would go near $17k. That all was so undigestable for me I did not fill my bags at that time due to lack of funds but I did what I could do.

Most of that part was only to observe the market I was also worried that BTC would even go below $10k but I admire to those who bought the dip, according to my analysis, big whales filled there bags will good BTC amounts and when BTC reached $25k again they sold it and dipped the BTC back to $20k. That was the moment I realized I made the mistake of not buying BTC at $17k because BTC has potential that I was unable to assume. Now I do but still feeling anxious I think we are made that way.  ;)

Now, the question is: Do you think BTC can be hold on to this level or will it then start to make a good upward moves towards more? Or will it be going south again?
It will exactly continue rising up, moreover it is heading to bullish era. But of course, this will need to pas the halving at first. However during the process, there will be always market correction in which the Bitcoin price will go down in certain rate and then rise up again. The optimization to be at the support and resistant is always cycling and continuing. But, as long as we are holding the BTC for long term, we are okay enough to wait the price rising up again. We are expecting a bullrun that lead BTC price able to risk up significantly, and followed by altcoins. But of course, once more this will need certain steps to do and to pass.

Currently, the price of Bitcoin is $44k and there is a predictions that says it might get to $45k. Today Bitcoin has increased with 2% hopefully it might settle here or keeps pumping as predicted before the Bitcoin ETF approval. And checking the price movement in time passed, before the halving there is always a small bullish movement that helps increase the price to a certain level and after the halving, the main bull run begins. So if Bitcoin price get to $50k then there is a high probability that the bull run might make a new ATH up to $100k

Bitcoin is showing some strength as OP said, I think we should hold bitcoin. I confident in bitcoin than other.

Buddy, have you checked the current price? It is already above $44k, it seems to surpass $45k again. So, it is surely above $40k now, it is before the Bitcoin halving. However, I think this can't guarantee the optimum price to reach in this bullish season. We always don't know the exact price to be the ATH of Bitcoin. However, with many good news lately, I am a bit confident the price of Bitcoin can reach $100k. So, why we must sell it now, we should hold it.  ;)

It's not that I didn't want to buy at that time at the price of 17,500 USD, but I felt strong anxiety when I saw the market continued to go red and couldn't stop falling.

Yes, that's right, Bitcoin is now expensive and has passed the price of 17,500 USD and its value has increased by more than 105%.
I currently have a little Bitcoin from various events such as Campaigns, AMAs, or trading results on Binance and I tend to have more for HodL.
The value of these satoshis is also not more than tens of thousands of satoshis, only a little because I was previously not good at looking for Bitcoins, especially as I was far from being a Bitcoin miner.

Today, Bitcoin showing some strength price movement success reached until $44,700 and has potential for bitcoin get new highest price before reached to $47000? Still not any update yet are there have good news and make bitcoin looks strength by moving to the higher price? I think more expected by the holder and close halving left few months later to see bitcoin make another highest price.
I have started with reinvesting in bitcoin since price drop to $40k, optimistic before halving bitcoin has chance raise up more than 30% and my target near close before halving bitcoin can raise up to $70k.

Bitcoin is really strong, and it will get even stronger in the coming times. Why did I say that? Before, there were only a few people who believed in it, but now many big companies are investing in Bitcoin. And for sure, you know that too.

Especially now that many institutional investors are buying bitcoin, especially those approved by the SEC in the US bitcoin spot ETF, That means it is not likely to grow even stronger in the future.

More than a year after mate?  now that value is almost multiplied by 3 as we are now closing to reach 50k( assuming that we will see this any time thos february because it was denied last  month)

some expect the price will drop to 15k that time but look at it now , this is what wonder can bring by Bitcoin to everyone.

That's right, my friend. A year after they friend's prediction above, there has been a significant change because, since then, it has increased until July 2023 before finally being corrected again.but not too significant; until the end of 2023, it was above $40K, and until now, it has continued to move slowly until it reaches $46K, down slightly from its best price of $48K+.Will it be able to reach $50,000 this February?

It's just prediction if said bitcoin will down, I think It's wrong.  Current bitcoin price is $ 45,942. By seeing bitcoin performance I predict it will touch $ 60K soon. I never it will down $ 15 K it seems difficult to happen.
Many investors enthusiasm and believe bitcoin will touch new ATH, by buying bitcoin before halving.

Of course the price movement to $60k will be very easy to achieve and with good news it will definitely be easy to make the Bitcoin price reach its target, hopefully there is no bad news that can trigger whales to panic, Bitcoin approaching the Halving should always rise because of the potential to gain Bitcoin will get harder.

It's good phenomena to see, After ETF bitcoin approved, bitcoin shows good movement in crypto market, So easy to reach $60K. Maybe we will see correction but I think It still above $ 50 K while correction. So, no worries if you bought bitcoin at the bottom. Keep hold and wait the bullish will happen at Q1 next year. It's .y prediction.

It has now touched $50K, although it is still very difficult for it to continue to survive and fall again. This is a sign that it will start to pass $50K and will happen today. However,  the influence of ETFs could influence it even though the halving period is near, so it will keep moving. There will always be a correction, and that is normal, so use the correction to continue buying and holding until the season is bullish.

The fall in the price of Bitcoin still has the potential to happen, but no one knows when it will happen. Usually, the price of Bitcoin will fall when there is bad news, which triggers panic on exchanges, and whales are usually involved in bringing down the price of Bitcoin even though they are actually making a profit withdrawal and will buy again in the near future.

It wouldn't surprise me if Bitcoin surges to $60k before halving if its price movement (uptrend) continues. Since the halving is 59 days away and the Bitcoin ETF has been approved, many investors who haven't invested in Bitcoin yet would love to do so. As of right now, the price of Bitcoin is $51,600.

Hopefully, before the year ends, the price of bitcoin will surpass its previous all-time high. This makes it yet another excellent moments to invest.

I don't be believe it wil happen, bitcoin will crash until 10K USD , but anything can happen at crypto space
I see bitcoin is remaining the King of crypto currency and always being the favourite choice for investment.
No, it will be impossible Bitcoin to drop to $10k now. It is a too huge drop, that's something very difficult to happen. Even if the Bitcoin price may drop again because of the next dump, it should be still above $45k. Sure, Bitcoin is always the most favorite coin, it will be the priority to hold by each person. In this bullrun season, the interest will keep increasing. So, the price will relatively increase day after day.

The price of Bitcoin has very strong support at several points so that as you mentioned it is impossible for Bitcoin to fall that deep, when you see the price of Bitcoin which had fallen to $20k a few months ago, it immediately bounces back and returns to the recovery process to its current peak and always goes up, its makes the bull run happen quickly.

So excited when remember bitcoin drop under $20K and success bounce to higher price until right now up to $52k, I believe many people most disappointed why not buy back when bitcoin very lower price and most of them worried with another lower price when bitcoin got crashing.
Bitcoin recovery very faster and easily since dropped after ETFs approval announce from $40k and right now more than 20% bitcoin bounce to higher price. Keep hold bitcoin until near halving future if won't disappointed or if you have free money keep accumulate as much possibility.

That's right, bitcoin ETF have a very positive impact on bitcoin price movements.  Actually, after the Bitcoin ETF was approved, Bitcoin fell to 38K, and then now it has risen to 52K, isn't that very fantastic?
Regret why you didn't buy it when the price was below 20K last year?  THAT was what was more annoying, because at that time I had a lot of needs.

Bitcoin is the largest coin in my personal wallet, while I spread half of my assets into several potential altcoins. I will hold Bitcoin until next year.

It is not unusual for Bitcoin price to be in the $70k before a halving. We are seeing a Bitcoin bull run long before the halving, so the current halving will be stronger than it was in the past. People's trust in Bitcoin is at all-time high and will continue to do so. There has been a lot of excitement and enthusiasm among institutional investors as well as general investors. Bitcoin holders are all trying to hold their holdings with the goal of increasing them further. These signals addresses to positive aspects of Bitcoin.

That's right, Bitcoin sentiment seems stronger even before the halving, this is a sign that during the halving it will be stronger.  Chances are Bitcoin will be above $60K during the halving.  It seems like the ETF bitcoin has had a positive impact and investors are very enthusiastic about buying bitcoin.  Keep holding your bitcoin until the bullish season, possibly the price will be 3-5 X from now.

Before the Halving, it seemed like Bitcoin experienced a price decline that occurred at the end of December 2022, but everything went up again when there was good news and it was approaching the Halving. Congratulations to those of you who bought Bitcoin at a cheap price and now the price has risen quite expensively. I think the ETF will very influential on Bitcoin price movements in the future.

The decline in the price of Bitcoin is a myth or one that is often repeated as has happened before, but if the price of Bitcoin does not dump after the Halving then the story will be a record breaker, because the price of Bitcoin after the Halving does not dump.
I just assume that the Dump after the halving in April will not be a Dump Hard because everyone from various levels of society already knows that Bitcoin will rise after the Halving.

I also only hold a little Bitcoin in my wallet because I also believe that Bitcoin will rise but I don't know when the price of Bitcoin will rise, the benchmark for the Halving to occur is definitely there.
If I only had 3 Bitcoins, maybe I would be more grateful to continue hodL forever because Bitcoin is like my soul mate.

A little or a lot, let's just hold on, friends, because we aren't a whales.  I have collected assets from participating in bounties since 2017. If I had a lot of BTC, maybe now I would find it difficult to stop participating in bounty campaigns, just waiting for the bullish ;)

Doing business starts with small capital, so we feel the meaning of struggle. Many friends invested initially by joining bounty campaigns, airdrops, retrodrops, etc. After having capital they invest in Bitcoin.  Currently Bitcoin looks strong, having touched $51K before the halving, lucky for those who bought last year when the price was still low at around $20K.

Starting a business or an investment with a small amount of money could really be helpful indeed, because that way you'll need to put in a lot of hardwork and on the process get to learn and figure out more about what you've involved yourself in, there's also sense of ownership and pride that comes with that, especially when you eventually grind your way through the tough and rough moments.

It's also very interesting to know that there are people in the crypto space who started their crypto journey by participating in airdrops, bounty campaigns and the rest just to raise funds to begin their investment, it's more like trial by fire lol. Many people actually succeeded in the crypto industry that way and if you see them now, they've managed to accumulate a good number of Bitcoin to themselves.

Not only has Bitcoin shown to be the strongest coin that ever existed, but it has also proven to make one wealthy in a long period, if one can be patient and hodl strongly and apply a DCA method of accumulation of bitcoin.

Someone having more bitcoin in their portfolio is securing their future to be great because a Satoshi one tends to hodl today, in a year or more years to come will yield them unimaginable profits they can't forget in a hurry.

You're right, I think everyone has their own experience and luck.  There are those who started first but lost a lot compared to those who just started. In this case, he came last but had great luck so the airdrop and bounty that followed were worth it.  I don't know if this is luck or if he is really smart in choosing.
Because several time I joined bounty and airdrop worthless, but not for my friend. It make me only a little capital to invest in crypto.

2017 is a year that is remembered very much by the cryptocurrency community because it was the year when all cryptocurrencies rose very, very sharply.
Different from the previous increase in 2017, the price of Bitcoin was also very expensive and I cannot deny it.

You also definitely have a lot of Bitcoin because you have been collecting it for the past 5 years.
Maybe you take part in this bounty just to fill your free time while relaxing at home to enjoy a life full of ups and downs every second for the price of Bitcoin.

Holding Bitcoin is always a right decision, those who have held Bitcoin in the past are now in ample profit. Now that the price of Bitcoin is almost at its highest point, you can still hold on to Bitcoin if you want. The more bitcoins you hold, the greater your future profit potential. Many people may think that the market is at its highest level and if you invest at this highest level and if you hold your investment from now on then there is a possibility of market dumping, those who think like that, change your mind. But the market has reached this position in a short period of time and from this position the market can go higher. We must take some risks because without taking risks we cannot achieve success.

KEEP HOLD IT until halving coming, currently bitcoin showing some strength after breaking out above $52 but I don't have ideas for selling bitcoin right now. Keep hold on and waiting until near future halving bitcoin will strength more than last higher price and not close chance will make new ATH.
Don't get risk by selling bitcoin right now exactly halving left two months and bitcoin chance can raise above $60, usually the holder is the winner and don't hold if you won't get rich  ;D.

Bitcoin must be held until the halving is not only held until the Bitcoin halving occurs but must be held until the bull season begins in the market a few months after the halving. For those who think this market is strong, I think it will be even stronger, but that's after the Bitcoin halving. I am holding my bitcoins with the current market rise I am not making a decision to exit my investment I will hold my investment until new ATH is created in the market. However, we may see the Bitcoin market above $60,000 very soon.

       -   No one has yet beaten the disposition of bitcoin in this industry; he is still at the top and leading in this field of the crypto space. That's why if you're a practical person and you're not rich, you're not capable of buying at least 0.1 btc worth of bitcoin, and even if you save this amount of btc in the coming bull, let's say even 100k is not enough so you can buy the house you want in real life.

That is to say, it is only good to hold Bitcoin when you have it in your wallet address at least 1 bitcoin. Though I can't deny that I still have income, it's not enough to get you your dreams, if only in that amount, and this is just my opinion.

If you are a holder then it wont really be an issue whether the price would be going down or up as of this moment. If you've been here on this market for a while now then you wouldnt really be that optimistic on the current price rise as of this moment on which we know that we dont still have that pre halving dump yet and we are still 55+ days as far as i remember before halving kicks in, plus we do have that post halving dump too on which we should really be that get prepared for that one but just like as i said that once you do make yourself that decided on being a holder
then you would definitely be making yourself not minding that much about those situations.

In the beginning, when Bitcoin was first launched, many people underestimated it because it had a very limited supply of only 21 million bitcoin pieces and could only be used for digital transactions. However, as digital currency technology developed, Bitcoin became one of the best digital currency candidates. It has very high security, and all transactions are neatly recorded from when it was first created until now. Therefore,  Bitcoin is the strongest currency to date, including the most expensive price.

Now, the question is: Do you think BTC can be hold on to this level or will it then start to make a good upward moves towards more? Or will it be going south again?

BTC will move up when the time is right, especially since we are waiting for the halving, so BTC will follow a predetermined cycle and will even reach a new ATH more quickly in 2024 by looking at the quite significant value movement in BTC in the week 2 of February.

I alwasy give 5 star rating to people that bought Bitcoin since 2009 and till today, they are still holding strong, they are unshakable but personally, I don't have that mind financially, I will happily sell all my bags here and then restock again if I see decline or plummet in the market. I was reading how some people where gifting bitcoin on doing simple task but today they are not available again because of the value it has, I wish I can go back into time.

I will be happy if I see Bitcoin as high as more than this place even when I have small on my wallets but anyone that is holding large sum should be cautious of this levels because if we dump from here and doesn't have any momentum to come back up again, you may never see this price again until another big event which is another 4 years we are talking about.

I would suggest people to look more wide on a situation with Bitcoin price. Take more longer time frames. Evaluate Bitcoin price change not during a week or month, but instead take quarter or half a year periods. After all Bitcoin is not buy today and sell tomorrow kind of thing. With this, it isnt correct to ask will it hold? Compare the price with what it was in summer or year ago. Obvious growth and strength.

After you have sold your bitcoin at 15k$ there occurred huge pump which move bitcoin to the worth of 52k$ so if you was not panic that time then you will be Millionaire this time. But still you have opportunity if you have some remaining amount saved in your wallet and there is a great difference between the price of 2022 and 2024.

If still you have knowledge and have hold your bitcoin then I think there is no good option than wait some months more because price will go more higher. And think about the fact that if bitcoin can go higher from 15k$ to 52k$ in one and half year then there should be no doubt that bitcoin will also touch 100k$ very soon.
