Gambling discussion / Re: Whats your experience with gambling?
« on: April 26, 2024, 07:38:21 PM »
Ever since I came back to gambling nothing is special happening like winning the jackpot or decent amount of prizes and instead it just made me stop doing it for now. I am afun of lottery myself but since local lottery has controversial issues themselves I refrain from placing my bets maybe I had to try another games soon.

Gambling discussion / Re: Is it right for a lady to gamble ?
« on: April 26, 2024, 07:33:06 PM »
Gambling is for everyone regardless of gender and ages though it was strictly only for 18 years old and above but still in some cases minors are still able to slip into it whether online or offline. Gambling is really for people who has extra money to pay for having thrill and fun

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What Altcoins Do you have?
« on: April 26, 2024, 07:27:50 PM »
Well yeah, as we all know that if Bitcoins movement is on uptrend just like in bull run, Altcoins will follow and this is what I am waiting for as majority of my holdings right now are into Altcoins for an easy multiplier but yeah it was all memecoins that I hodl right now and I wish I still have the chance to get profit from it.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do you need to spend to earn?
« on: April 26, 2024, 07:22:25 PM »
Spend to earn is the pattern followed by companies to make you invest more money in buying things you do not need and with the increasing value of Bitcoin it is foolish to spend it to get cashback.
Yeah this is what I have observed with all those promotions just to earn something from them. But yeah I agree with you given the fact that the value of Bitcoin is rallying upwards it isn't wise to spend it and you may also take fees into consideration if it apply.

Economics , Sociology & Politics / Re: Why do we pay taxes?
« on: April 26, 2024, 07:16:50 PM »
Well yeah that is what President Bukele was saying it's an illusion thing. But for me tax is good if implemented fairly and is done in due process. Taxes has been here since the old days so there is no way we are going to evade on it unless you are Robert Kiyosaki. 😅✌️

Anyone can evade taxes but you will be considered as a criminal if you do.

While the term you should be using is avoid taxes and that's what every rich person is doing to stack their earned money for themselves which is only possible for the rich people who make money in other forms than getting paid via salary.

This is why experts says the system is rigged cause it's made in the favor of rich people.
Well yeah I totally agree on this one and I think they do it the right way as well unless their riches came from blood money which is inappropriate. Yeah "avoid" is the right term instead of "evade" as the last one is a bit of rude sorry for that as english is not my native language.

Yeah exactly. People accepts brirbery during elections that is why corrupt politicians will have to make something just to recover the loss they've paid during the campaign period. This is what actually is happening here in my small country. When majority of these bad voters overpower the good voters we are left hanging and things will become worst as corruptions became more rampant.  I think we need a reform on this.

Regarding bribery. I, in my country, have observed this process. That is why I said earlier that I think it is necessary to limit voting rights. It is the pensioners and the poor who are bought very cheaply. And the biggest problem is not that they are being sold, but that they are being sold to get a momentary gain for a day-week-month, with absolutely no thought for the FUTURE. They live today, and they have the most primitive needs, they are not used to building complex cause-and-effect relationships to understand that selling your vote today, for 10 dollars, you, your children and grandchildren will lose thousands of dollars and POSSIBILITIES, and will be deprived of a quality future!
Here in my place vote buying starts from $50-$200 for mayors and councilors which makes things gets worst if some nonsense politicians will win a slot in the local government as you have said it's a few days of glory just because of the money but it will take more years to suffer from the effect of that wrong doing.

Well for me since it was all on his investments it's all up to him if he wanted to sell his shares on Microstrategy or his Bitcoin investments. But I never heard of him selling his Bitcoins I only read "shares". Fud really is a misleading thing and is very dangerous.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: All you need to know after Bitcoin halving
« on: April 26, 2024, 05:36:10 PM »
Well yeah, I am expecting something big is coming in this upcoming bull run as well. And I am pretty excited when will it happen and how soon it will be since those years OP had mentioned is very different from each other. We should prepare for it or else we will miss it again this year as I did before in previous bull run.

Meron atang logging in expiration kaya kahit mag log in ka ay may expiration tapos maauto log out tayo.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: High fees is a never ending story?
« on: April 25, 2024, 05:01:25 PM »
It's now down to more or less $5 so it's good to have transaction right now as it might go back up again later on. But if the fee will continue to drop I think it would be better since that is the only way transactions will become convenient and worth it. But my transaction just recently got me I think that was more or less $15 for a small amount of Bitcoin transfer.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Looking for a way to optimize my strategy
« on: April 25, 2024, 04:55:00 PM »
For me, this strategy is quite complex and does not promise profit or capital management security. If the investor really believes in the future of BTC, DCA over time will be more suitable, especially DCA in the 2022-2023 accumulation zone.
Yeah I personally think that way instead of complicated strategies I just DCA and hodl if I had capital as I am not that guy who has enough time to face the screen all the time so long term investment would be my personal choice.

Philippines (Tagalog) / Re: Mempool Observer Topic

Though this is just my personal opinion but may possibilities din kasi yan.

In terms of Bitcoin holdings I think kapag nagkagyera at pinaulanan tayo ng ballistic missile dyan na siguro sasama sa libingan Bitcoin natin haha sino ba naman kasi busy na magtetrading sa kalagitnaan ng gyera not unless may bunker ka na sobrang lalim na di kayang abutin ng bunker buster munitions at I don't think may internet pa tayo at kuryente sa panahon na yan. Kaya ngayon pa lang ay mag-isip na tayo ng plan B or maghanda sa mga posibilidad na mangyari in the future since war is inevitable.😁

Economics , Sociology & Politics / Re: Why do we pay taxes?
« on: April 23, 2024, 05:20:20 PM »
I just wanted to say that all the government knows what they are doing. In reality, without taxes been paid, there wouldn't be developments and when people py taxes, they are mean to enjoy their taxes but because of corruptions and looting, they don't properly allocate these funds and even when they allocate this money, they embezle the money.

If one day the government decide to make it's fiat money run through a decentralized blockchain where the money inflow and outflow can be trace, trust me corruption will cease to exist, people will b scared to looth government taxes because clearly that's what they do.

At first taxation system was introduced with the purpose of doing good for the people who are poorer by collecting the money from the people who have money that can't be spent in their entire life time.

Now the ideology is reversed, rich pay fewer taxes than the poor and this is because the rich control the system so they made changes that will benefit them most, poor people in terms of finance and knowledge still believes that money collected in taxes is being used for the developments of their citizen while in reality it's utilized to make more earning opportunities for the top 1%...
Well yeah that is what President Bukele was saying it's an illusion thing. But for me tax is good if implemented fairly and is done in due process. Taxes has been here since the old days so there is no way we are going to evade on it unless you are Robert Kiyosaki. 😅✌️
