Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Trading is not same thing as Gambling
« Last post by Uruhara on Today at 09:39:02 AM »
Trading and gambling are totally two different things. Gambling is a lucky thing, if you make a wrong move you would lose all your assets. In trading, if you make a wrong move, you can sell any time and save much of your funds.
For those who don't quite understand the definitions of gambling and trading, it's natural that there are still many who misunderstand the equation between trading and gambling. Even though these two things are different as you said.

Gambling is just guessing and testing your luck by betting on something and our bets have no impact on that something. But trading means that we are directly involved in the market and our participation is also a driver in the market itself.

From where I live, it isn't that easy. That's why I don't try to. I am mainly based in rural areas, and here, the adults aren't that aware of Bitcoin or any other crypto currency or any related stuff. If I try to, they will think I'm doing something illegal or bad. My relatives, my neighbors, and even my friends don't know what I do. I don't want them to have mixed feelings. I tried once, but it didn't work. And the biggest issue is that crypto is banned here. So nobody wants to mess with the authority. You sure understand my place isn't that convenient to discuss or convince people about Bitcoin.
We're the same TBH... or kind of. :D

Living in a rural area where people aren't that familiar not only in cryptocurrency, but in investing in general. My environment is filled with people who doesn't invest, and some doesn't even save at all which is quite unfortunate. I didn't try to convince them though or at least introduce cryptocurrency to them.

Our difference is that crypto isn't banned here in our country and as for you, it would be better to not tell anything about cryptocurrency to other people. Like you said, no one wants to mess with the authorities, and that includes you. Just keep that information to yourself. You can't introduce cryptocurrencies to them, but you can teach them investing in general though. The pros, and cons, the risks involved, types of investment, etc.

Various financial crypto analysts believe that meme coin is a type of gambling coin that can have quick profits and losses. Pepe coins like other meme coins created quite a hype in the market but those coins lost their value again. Meme Coins survive mainly on creating hype among investors. Pepe Coins are created for entertainment purpose only and have no real value. Therefore, before investing in these coins, investors should consider the risks involved. Because constantly new coins create the most hype in the market.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Anonymity - good or bad?
« Last post by Uruhara on Today at 09:26:42 AM »
Anonymity is actually quite good in one area and not so good in other areas that involve reputation and trust in the real world. But in cyberspace I prefer anonymity. Because it makes us feel more free. Likewise with crypto. But I'm also okay with not being anonymous. As long as I can also maintain my privacy well. And no one disturbs my privacy. But often prohibiting anonymity sometimes ends up limiting privacy or disrupting our privacy. And actually I also understand why the government likes everything to be more open and less anonymous. And it's all about security. But yeah, sometimes it really disturbs our comfort in something.

If that's the case, it is indeed hard to convince someone in your location about Bitcoin. I don't know what happened or what situation your government in to come to the point of banning crypto in your country just like in some other countries but the situation wherein they will think of you doing any illegal activities once you are into crypto, it's awful and sad at the same time.

Do you mind telling what country you came from?

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Opt for the safest exchange?
« Last post by taufik123 on Today at 09:24:04 AM »
I just heard about Phemex and Coinstore, but Binance is best for trading, but not for storing your main assets.
However, it is not advisable to store all your assets in CEX because it will also be at risk when some hacks occur.

Binance is indeed the most popular right now and already has SAFU as a safeguard for user assets, but it won't fully secure it.

What would be the best investment for a better profit?
there are no assurance about profits mate but as long as you understand what you are entering ? then you are in better positioning and better result .
but for the best advise? there is nothing better than investing your money in Bitcoin of course , but if having a chance then better to put your money on them both .
