It is expected that most crypto transactions will be probably banned in Russia in autumn. I guess many other countries which can ignore what US government says are also not so crypto friendly. So there will be other problems unfortunately. Hope US courts will side bitcoin and crypto in forthcoming cases. ???

Is this the first time being banned? I've heard this before many times.
Everything is happening so quickly, yet there is no clear legislation banning mixers in the United States or restricting their access. I don’t know why what happened with Samourai Wallet frightened many privacy providers?

I do not see a particular problem with that.

I actually think that adding two kinds of links would be more a burden than a benefit. If you don;t like the referral link then just remove it from the URL.
Ok, since you both don't see a problem, I think I overreacted.
I don't think so, but you are big on words and criticism, and you clearly have no idea what it takes to operate any website that was attacked by multiple DDOS attacks...
Blaming someone with statement that ref links are not allowed in forum feels like someone is trying to snitch to admin for something that is clearly allowed :P
This reminds me a lot on something that happened in bitcointalk forum not long ago...
@dkbit98 Is this your usual way of responding to others, we have

Please READ before commenting anything about this subject.
There is no rule anywhere that is not allowing me to add million ref links on my own website, so this is really silly coming from you.

I didn't notice this until you mentioned what happened in the forum, so let me ask you, is that the reason? If it's true then to avoid drama I think it's better to ignore each other, otherwise I'm sorry for thinking about it.

Yes, adding two different links might be burdensome but you could have a disclaimer about the links are referral links. However, that's not needed but if added then I think it won't impact the site in anyway.

Forum related / Re: [Sugestion] Old Posts Remove
« on: May 09, 2024, 05:48:48 AM »
AFAIK, These posts are linked to points/rank-up system, so deleting them will affect the ranking of old accounts. Deleting them will also reduce the content that is archived on Google, and thus reduce the chances of this forum appearing.

I understood that here (as well as on Btt) it is not forbidden to leave a site that can have ref links. (It's OK to remove them if there are any)
What is forbidden is to fill the forum with direct ref links in the post. That would really increase the amount of spam on the forum.
I did not suggest removing them, but putting an option for ref links if you want to support the service.

So what?  ::)

I thought that developing this list was part of an effort to preserve privacy, especially after banning mixing services, but now mixers that have ref links appear first, and some ads appear at the top, so at least leave an option to click on referral links if they want to support the service.

Signature Campaigns / Re: Altcoinstalks Signature Campaign Observer
« on: May 09, 2024, 05:33:07 AM »
These days there is less competition, which increases the possibility of success.
With a higher degree of security and disclosure of personal information, it is possible.
Unless their servers are in Russia, North Korea, or any of the countries that do not cooperate closely with the United States, I do not think their service will continue for a long time.
Unfortunately, now is an ideal opportunity for scammers. Create a mixer, pay $10,000 to promote the service and wait for someone to deposit 1 Bitcoin.

I think because there are alternatives. If it is possible to advertise on Twitter and BTT and advertising on Twitter will achieve a higher return, you will find that the service advertises on Twitter, and there is a service like BESTCHANGE that has an advertising campaign on BTT and they do not have a campaign here, so we can say that BTT is the preferred place for campaigns.
If it is not possible to advertise there (as happened with mixing services), then one of the best alternatives is this forum.

7
I did not click on the links on your service, but I discovered that they are ref links, so it is better to provide an option by placing direct links and a box for ref links for those who want to support the service, as the list now works as a ref proxy, which I think is prohibited here.

I will keep watching to see if  NotATether gets his  affiliate fees. I hope he does.
On average, if the service does not return within 10 days, we can consider that they have decided to withdraw.

I don't like the concept of staking but it's true that staking your coins on launch pool has been very profitable for many users. Stacking is only profitable for you if you have enough capital but if your capital isn't enough the you won't get good profits from staking.
on launch pool, I do not think it is staking, but it is more like investing or lending, where you get profits because you leave your money with a trusted person for a certain period. As for staking, it works at the level of the protocol for POS coins and according to the conditions, and it may not require a large capital as in ADA.

The reason why I said the timing was suspicious is not because of law enforcement but because I had wrote to them a few hours before the outage (that started yesterday) asking them to activate my affiliate account so that I could withdraw a large payout.

While I hope it's not the case, the fact that the service is still down after 24 hours smells like they're trying to chicken out of paying.
What is the approximate value of the amount you plan to withdraw from the affiliate account? They have about $4,000 in escrow, so I do not think they will scam you.

It reminds me a bit of the WWM case.
I still think that WWM has a relationship with Tornado Cash, but https://tumbler.io/ and from the first day they showed that they are a service that has a good reserve and I tried to take advantage of what happened with CM. They were active and willing to pay a lot of money. I think that banning mixers in BTT hurt them a lot.

No point in having an ANN thread if the whole website is down with a 502 Internal Server Error  :(

It is also suspiciously timed as well!

Edit: I think it is being DDoS attacked. Some other mixers are down too. I will try TOR mirror.

Edit 2: TOR mirror doesn't work either. Doesn't look like a DDoS attack.
I confirm this, the last time I access the service was on 04/27.
Almost two days after what happened with Samourai Wallet

Reputation, Scams & Phishing / Re: Yomix scam for 1.6 btc
« on: May 02, 2024, 08:05:22 PM »

Unfortunately, Yomix has turned into a scam, and more users are complaining about losing their money after using this blender, so it is better to search on Google or ask here before using any blender.

The chance of you getting your money back seems small and varies depending on your country, but the amount of 1.5 Bitcoin is worth a try. Try to contact the local authorities in your country if they have laws related to Bitcoin and allow the use of mixers.

In general, I do not like launchpools because they give CEXs such as Binance and Bitget a greater influence than they have due to their use of customer funds, but in terms of profits, launchpools certainly have profits, but the risks are greater.
You can staking POS and the return will be good if you believe in the project in the long term, otherwise it is better to trade or buy Bitcoin.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Again, Don't Ignore Security
« on: May 01, 2024, 09:30:14 PM »
User Security is important, but what surprises me is how easily CEXs are hacked. FF was hacked twice in less than two months, and the total amount of money hacked reached more than $100 million during this year.

In the past, we used to hear about a hacking event every few months, but in recent years its frequency has increased rapidly.
