I agree it seems we have been hovering around the $300 mark for some time I am a bit surprised.
When Bitcoin hit over 100 billion I thought ethereum would be close behind, maybe hitting 50 billion.
In do time I suppose. Hopefully 2018 we will see some nice gains

You already answered your own question, bitcoin price is rising which causes other coin prices to drop. Let's just be glad that price of ethereum didn't fall like others did.
