Title: The Immense Optimism As The Bitcoin Halving Looms.
Post by: MetaAttorney on March 26, 2024, 03:13:17 PM

The bitcoin halving seems to be one of the most anticipated events. In various quarters, it is held as the only major catalyst that propels the price of Bitcoin and other altcoins alongside.

The halving is slated to happen every 4 years, historically it has been found that the price of bitcoin surges exponentially whenever it happens. The last halving was at 2020, in 2021 we witnessed a full blown run with BTC peaking about $72K.

At present the next halving is slated to happen this year, 2024. The month of the halving is to be April, but no date is specifically chosen yet.

However, to spark up optimism, reputable platforms like Bitget have taken initiative to bring forth an event that will let users earn about $500,000 in BTC, once you complete some deposit in EUR or BRL,you will be eligible to participate. Interestingly, you can make multiple deposits to maximise you chance to win.

Personally, I am curious as to the halving event, and I will participate accordingly.

The halving date is not chosen, it happens when a certain number of blocks have been mined. Some sites make an estimate:

Okay, so it's kind of a lottery where Bitget is going to win a lot of money and a lot of you are going to get fleeced.

Personally, I am curious as to the halving event, and I will participate accordingly.

The best way to participate you can do would be to learn about bitcoin and how it works, and if you decide to invest make it for the long term, not because you feel excited about halving or being offered lottery-like tickets.

The halving date is unknown, but it will be in April. I would not partake in any such event by bitget, because I don't have have any spare funds for that. I have invested all my funds in bitcoin, and I am patiently waiting till next year when the bull run will be at its peak before I will sell some of my bitcoin. However, why will I send funds there when it is not time for me to exchange my BTC to fiat.

Same here, I don't have account in Bitget as well but I have funds for now just a small portion from my profits. I am not also creating exchanges that might be unregistered here in my country because of what had happened to Binance just recently. I will just find ways to maximize my investments in Bitcoin because who the heck wants to miss the next bull run after the event right?

Of course, the halving is something that everyone eagerly awaits, perhaps not only as a point from which to expect a new bull run, but also as a technical event that we have approximately every 4 years. I remember my first halving in 2016 and I remembered it well, even more than the one that followed in 2020.

As for any contests (lotteries) that have to do with halving, I don't see anything wrong with that if they come from legitimate sources and if someone already has an account on such services. I hope that someone will be pleasantly surprised if they receive an award, and then I have no doubt that the halving in 2024 will remain in their very fond memories.
