Bitcoin Forum / Bitcoin investment or trading?
« on: January 09, 2019, 09:07:44 PM »
I just do not know exactly what bitcoin is all about because bitcoin might be a different views to other since some are talking about bitcoin as a digital currency for means of payment and other consider it as an asset or investment. However, I am pretty sure that many were trading bitcoin and I would like to challenge the users to which is really preferred between trading(short term gaol buy low sell high) or investing(holding for long)?

Up to now, what is your #1 favorite cryptocoin , and why?
If you have a hard time to choose just one, please feel free to post your top 3.
Personally, Bitcoin has always had and will always have a very special place for being the first to get me into the space.
On top of that I like and support several coins of which at the moment my favorite is Tezos (XTZ).

A new era will have even more modernity, Bitcoin is one of them that is part of the future, it's not wrong if we believe it.

Ethereum Forum / Re: Why people want ETH to over come BTC
« on: December 23, 2018, 08:26:02 PM »
Maybe because of the large supply and also because many ICOs use ethereum as a smart contract which then ethereum price will be very influential on this token but honestly I don't think about it because I'm quite satisfied with bitcoin and I'm also satisfied with ethereum with its current position so I don't think that needs to be replaced

Cryptocurrency discussions / Do you always invest in top ranked coins?
« on: December 22, 2018, 07:05:11 PM »
Hi Everyone,
As advised I am trying to learn the basics of crypto first.
Most of the suggestions mention investing in top ranked coins. My question is, does it always work? As far as I understand, the market is vulnerable and affects almost all the coins from top to bottom. How then you determine which ones would stay ?

The crypto world is run via blockchain technology, but how can we be sure of its anonymity? How anonymous it is really? With hackers all around, do you think that maybe it is not so anonymous and secured after all?

Blockchain Technology / What is the Origin of Blockchain Technology?
« on: December 21, 2018, 06:28:44 PM »
The blockchain technology as we all know designed by Satoshi Nakamoto to serve as a distributed ledger for bitcoin transaction, to reduce the cost of transaction that people incur when transactions are made through our central banks and also to prevent the issue of Double Spending. One thing that is sometimes missing out of the equation is that we fail to appreciate the efforts of Stuart Haber and W. Scott Stornetta whom i believed also made great contribution in the birth of the blockchain technology.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Where to find the best Bounty Campaigns
« on: December 20, 2018, 07:39:02 PM »
For a while I would participate in bounties from www.altcoinstalks.com, but then I started using BountyPlatform. I have yet to get paid one bounty from them, so I started looking back on the site here, but I'm not seeing many. Did they move them to another category? TIA for any help.

Stable Coins Forum / Re: Your favorite stablecoin??
« on: December 20, 2018, 07:28:39 PM »
I had some interest for Tether, but I have seen some negative speculation about that, so I didn't look for that anymore. The nearest Crypto-Currency to stability that I reach now is DogeCoin. Not so stable, but at least well known already to know it's not a farse and that there isn't anything behind it.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Crypto ICO's are killing Bitcoin
« on: December 17, 2018, 11:14:22 AM »
In my opinion not. more and more crypto currency variants are getting better for users and the development of digital currencies in the world. We can have various options for investment or trade or mining. We can choose the best cyrpto currency from all that is on the crypto market. This will make crypto currency competition even tighter, and currencies that have good management systems and trust levels will be chosen by crypto users.
