Title: Privacy/Cybersecurity Clothes, Posters
Post by: dexmrdesigns on February 28, 2024, 03:45:11 AM
Hi!! This is a promo post, but please hear me out!

I'm a college kid, hyper-interested in XMR and its tech, and just cybersecurity in general. I designed some products--shirts, hoodies, and even a poster--with graphics related to the Silk Road Market, TOR, and Monero, because even though I have no cash I'm really interested in the stuff and want to build my way into holding a good amount of XMR. I'll leave my store below, if that's alright. Thanks!

I am not sure you posted your ad on the best section of the forum. We do have a section dedicated to promoting ourselves: https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?board=288.0

But, your shop does not even accept cryptocurrencies, XMR neither, as a way of payment lol :D
And it looks like you are just doing basic dropshipping from printing services on clothes, right?

Something is breaking the design in chrome, maybe it's unlock preventing something, but for sure I ain't going to disable it to see why, it works in FF only on the redirect to your shopify account

Yeah, all you need is the text and logo and there will be 100 services ready to send out the merchandise.

As paid2 said above, the best way would be to accept Monero for payments!

2 domains? Did you obtain those for free? If no, you probably should've save the money for buying XMR. I also doubt it's good idea to sell goods which promote Silk Road on platform such as shopify. I doubt they want to be associated with former illegal marketplace.

Imagine that I buy a shirt with XMR, Silk Road, or TOR logo on it. I don’t know how people think about privacy, but I saw some people printing t-shirts of Mixers, Anonymous (hacker group) and some other privacy services, but all of this is completely the opposite of privacy. I wish you success, but anime t-shirts look much better.

Yeah and someone who really support Tor for example, would probably prefer make a donation to the Tor Project directly and gets his official T-shirt I guess.

Well, since silk road is dead and the shirts really don't mention it at all, just the logo that probably 99.9% of people looking at have no idea what it is, I doubt you will get in trouble for selling them, and even while wearing it on the street, effect will be probably zero.
More will think of an advert for the Camel cigarette brand

I just had a quick look at them, yeah, the same design, I don't understand why they can't just throw some random prompts at DALL-E or Midjourney for $10 and get some fresh designs that don't look like interwar posters. But..funny thing:

We also do not ship to India because packages we send there almost never reach their destination.

Common, seriously? Looolllll!
