Bounties Are A Complete Mess Now

Bounties are a complete nowadays, from getting terminated midway because an ICO failed, to payments not being made because the project teams have simply disappeared.. The space has become a wild wild west in it's totality. This is a direct fallout from the state of the crypto market in general.

ICOs are failing because they're increasingly not being able to gain the confidence of the investing public. Some of these projects in all honesty have no business coming into the crypto space, as their value proposition isn't convincing enough. Again, with the spate of scam projects now, many people simply do not trust any project to invest their money, for fear of being scammed and losing scarce resources.

Bounty hunters are on the receiving end, because an investor may choose not to invest in an ICO and status quo remains, but a bounty hunter has most likely invested time and resources in promoting a project, before investor thinks of investing. It's a sad situation these days. Time and effort wasted. Feels as though I should take a break from bounty participation for a while until the market bounces back. Who shares this thoughts with me?

I don't think all bounties are mess or failed. Don't make the same perception to all bounties in cryptocurrency. I still find some of bounties  that are successful and pay bounty participants after the bounty program ends. It means not all bounties failed to get their targets in ICOs.

Perhaps, I agree with you, I have been working for half a year, and during that time I received only two payments, all other projects were not paid, this means you need to choose projects more carefully

Joining in bounty is as risky as investment in ICO. If the ICO is failed or not reaching its softap, we will work for free. SOmetimes, we also work for the scammers and then we will get nothing. That is the risks of the bounty participation. But, when you are lucky, it will give you very legit rewards. SO, never think about the mess of the bounty. Just make a good consideration why should join that bounty such as soft cap reach, analysing the team, and project itself.

I totally agree with you, but there is nothing we can do regarding this matter, the only thing we can do is to choose carefully which campaign to join and which do not join, even now most bounty managers will tell you they are not responsible for the payments and they are just managing, so even try to follow a legit bounty manager will get you no where, you have to research the projects you want to join on your own. The last time I got payment from a campaign was 3 months ago and I am a picky person when it comes to a bounty.

I think a healthy approach is too think of it as penny stocks, most will fail, a small percent will go on to be great.  And bounty hunting is kinda like getting those penny's for free instead of buying, to help promote the project.

It is more difficult to find a campaign with good potential, but i don´t think it is a complete mess.

I absolutely concur with you, however there is nothing we can do in regards to this make a difference, the main thing we can do is to pick painstakingly which battle to join and which don't join, even now most abundance directors will disclose to you they are not in charge of the installments and they are simply overseeing, so even endeavor to pursue a genuine abundance chief will get you no where, you need to investigate the ventures you need to join without anyone else. The last time I got installment from a battle was 3 months prior and I am a particular individual with regards to an abundance.

Yes, almost all of the hunters are struggling right now. Most of the campaigns are not giving payouts.

Bounty hunting is a gamble, some you will win and some you will lose. If you pick your projects wisely, you should come out on top overall. Just remember that you should do as much research into a project you plan to take part in a bounty on as you would if you were investing money. The only difference is that you are investing time and effort instead of money. Nothing comes easy in this life, just don't get caught up in projects promising huge rewards if you can't see genuine value in the project itself, as the likely outcome is that you will end up with a pile of coins/tokens that are worth next to nothing.

This actually depends mate. Some ICOs failed due to lack of proper marketing to compel and secured investors. Plus the situation now are being affected by the bearish market. Bounty isn't that important for some ICO it's just an additional marketing to the project. If Bounties is what you expect from them then better to stop it. We all lucky that some project considered bounty campaign a free way to earn tokens but me as a trader. I personally not invest with ICO that has bounty but a marketing that can pulled of promoting a project.

Yes, the market is not in a very good position right now. But it seems to me that you should still take part in bounty campaigns, because when there is a bull market, all altcoins will increase in value. And you will regret missing out on some bounty campaigns.

It is completely understandable if ever you wish to take a break. Time is a valuable resource and you can use it in other more productive things.

I've seen a graph of recent ICO sales that reached or surpassed soft cap and the figures are really dismal.
Needless to say, a lot of bounty hunters were not paid.
