Hey, it's okay to keep your tokens on a big exchange! Just make sure to use a strong password and extra security (2-factor authentication). Most exchanges are pretty safe, but if you're worried, you can always move your tokens to a personal wallet for extra protection. Exchange this days are really investing a lot of money in to their security.

It is true that there are exchanges with high security, but remember that security is never 100% in any case. What if the exchange changed its KYC policy and required more personal information? What would happen is that the user would have to sell privacy to be able to withdraw the funds. What would happen if the exchange suffers a DDoS attack for days and the website becomes inaccessible? That the user cannot dispose of his funds. What would happen if some government shut down the exchange for an indeterminate period of time? The user would not have the funds either...

A personal and secure wallet is the best option for our coins/tokens. The rest is playing a lottery that could be very expensive any day.

I guess everything has a process. Before January, for example, no one thought we would see signature campaigns for the most popular mixers, and here they are. Every day there are new registrations (more than before January) and traffic, although slowly, also continues to increase. So I think that with patience the casinos will also pass through here, but it cannot be something from one day to the next. I agree that signature campaign managers can ask questions to see what casino owners think, but I also think that's something they already do.

As soon as you open the social media, there are numerous airdrop ads which are annoying most of the time. Also, will those airdrops actually distribute the amount of tokens to the users that I am very curious about it. Because everyone makes promises but so many promises can never be kept. Because not all projects will be successful. And if the project doesn't succeed, those who joined those airdrops won't get anything.

All these promises are as old and known as the “moon, lambo, etc…”. After all these years, I believe that these X (Twitter) campaigns can only be directed at new users who are approaching the industry for the first time, because users with more years of experience already know well how 99% of these projects end. These campaigns only serve to fill the pockets of a few and nothing more. Furthermore, in the Apps of these supposed projects we can sometimes find all types of malware.

Karma is basically worthless here - it is not as large as in Bitcointalk, it won't help you get into any campaigns, and nobody really cares much about it in general. I don't know why someone would waste their time farming karma on this forum.

I don't agree that karma is worthless in this forum. Another thing is that managers don't consider a user's Karma amount (at the moment) to be relevant for signature campaigns, but that can change at any time. The administrator said that a new rule will be implemented on the forum, where users must have a certain amount of Karma in order to reach the next rank. When that new rule is implemented, there may come a time when managers believe that Karma is relevant to accepting users in a signature campaign. There is still no exact date to know when the new rule will be implemented.

Youre right, musk has been doing for a long time.
We should seize the moment.
as musk doing, he gained benefit himself.
But don't forget, doge is very potential coin too.

I'm not saying Doge doesn't have potential, but the fact that it has potential is thanks to Musk's manipulation. Before that, Doge had its market (high or low, but its own and organic) and a community. Now everyone is waiting for Musk to say something to buy or sell.

Previously Dogecoin was a coin that had price movements based on the community, then when Elon Musk started to come in and buy all Dogecoin ownership it would make Dogecoin have even more price movements because so far we know that Elon Musk's tweets on the X platform (twitter) can have an influence on many people.

Influence, followers, manipulation, everything can go in the same bag, and in fact with Musk everything goes together. That's something he knows and uses to his advantage.

There are hundreds of companies in the United States that continue to do business with Russia, which is "supposed" to be a sanctioned country. And I say "supposed" because money, at the end of the day, is still money, just like business. One thing is how governments want to project sanctions internationally for starting a war and quite another is what happens between companies in private, everything is hypocrisy.

Regarding the way Block Inc. acts, I don't think there is much more to add, greed in its purest form to continue accumulating money without regard to sanctions or ethics or morals. Something that does not surprise me in the businesses that Jack Dorsey gets into, although the press has always called him the technological genius.

This is a very interesting article from Fortune that elaborates on what I said in the first paragraph: Over 300 U.S. companies still operate in Russia.

I don't think it will be long until we see some teleported users move up the list. In just four months some of them have accumulated a good amount of karma., so if the same pace is maintained at the end of this year we will see some of them among the top 10-20 positions. In any case, accumulating a lot of karma should not become an obsession either, although it is possible to exchange it for forum tokens (I think the administrator still needs to make some adjustments), the most important thing is to contribute to the forum.

Forum related / Re: Badges that encourage spamming the forum..
« on: May 06, 2024, 08:32:18 PM »
And posting that number of 25 to 50 must make the person to comment out of f point because the number is high and he will like to meet up the number to attain the barges therefore spamming will be unavoidable . And as you said, for one to contribute meaningful to the forum the person needs time to think and know what he is writing, if not the person will be posting trash to meet up the number and achieve the badge. Spamming should be discouraged and avoid and post only on the topic you can write well and understand what you writing.

These badges are simply “unlocked achievements” that in no way encourage users to spam since obtaining these types of badges does not carry any type of reward (no rank upgrade, no extra karma, no points or forum tokens). It is a way to show the dedication to the forum of the user who earns the badge. I still think the OP didn't understand what the badges mean.

That can be a big possibility and since the people of Tumbler is not communicating or issuing any official statement then we can only speculate on this development. Let's hope that there is nothing so consequential with what is happening on this platform and that they can come back doing business for the cryptocurrency industry. We know that the very nature of its business can be attracting not-so-pleasant inquiry from the government or even attacks coming from hackers. Anyway, let's wait for any official statement from Tumbler and let's hope it can happen ASAP!

That's why I asked if it could be that they had stopped providing service, even temporarily, due to attacks for example. What is not normal, in addition to what is happening and the reasons that we still do not know, is that there is no communication, like what happened to @AB de Royse777. It is possible that everything is by their own decision, but I don't know if it could be for reasons beyond the control of the owners or because of some request they received from some governmental power. Looking at the cases of recent weeks, it would be something that unfortunately does not seem strange to me.

Payment for last week will send later today. You are free to remove bio information that is related to Tumbler.
Payment sent, please check your wallet. When there is any update about the campaign, I will let you know.
Thank you everyone for your service, it was nice working with you in this campaign. Let's hope we get back everything in order in this campaign.

Cheers,

Bitcoin News & Updates / Re: Roger arrested
« on: May 05, 2024, 07:53:35 PM »
I am impressed how come this guy was free all those years after scamming so much people with that bitcoin cash (which is neither bitcoin nor cash)

He is a big scammer imo. He could have created his fork, but he didn't need to call it the real bitcoin and use bitcoin.com  to spread lies about it etc..

I don't know if Roger Ver is a scammer or not, but what I do know is that he has been attacking Bitcoin for many years. And the most annoying thing about that is that Ver didn't need to do it, it was the perfect excuse to promote his stupid fork and get a lot more money than he already had. I have always thought that Ver is nothing more than another well-known person in the industry who all he has done is leave the community with a bad image in front of the general public. Roger Ver could join the list with Do Kwon and others.

Signature Campaigns / Re: [Pause] UniJoin 🌀 Sig Campaign
« on: May 05, 2024, 05:18:20 PM »
icorpess, send me in telegram - @FrogMixer

Please, you can send a PM to icopress to get in touch with him. You don't need to repeat the same post several times. This way we avoid threads with repetitive posts and the information is clearer.

Thank you.

I am currently unable to contact UniJoin. It seems their website is now down and their Twitter account has been deleted (or suspended).

Therefore, until the circumstances are clarified, I will rename the thread to “Closed” and delete links leading to the site.

What comes to my mind is that they suspended work like Wasabi did.
