I registered coupla days ago. Here is what it says:
Your sign up request is being processed and you will receive an email from us when it is ready.
Signup requests can take up to 7 days to be processed, but usually complete in a day or two.

Just wait 1 - 2 weeks and if the confirmation is not arrived just try chromium browser to register again with another email thats what i Do i received the confirmation and my password after 3 days ;)

Yes correct brother, when first time am registered on steemit I have to wait 6 days till I've got email confirmation, notify me that my steemit join request has accepted

Due many people sign up a new steemit account that make steemit team being more selective in approved new account.
But just wait more even it take longer then they explained you

My second sign up (lost the details for the first account :-[) took over two weeks to confirm. They make it tough, but glad to be back on the platform now.

The steemit platform is very particular about users that register unto the platform. They want to have a very secured platform where users would not have duplicate accounts and also generate passwords that is difficult for someone to hack you. So please relax and on the 14th day you will definitely hear from them.

I think i waited around ~ 20 days to receive confrimation email, so if its more than 1 month, change ip/phone/email and try again.

I was accepted after waiting roughly 17-18 days.. Funny thing is I didn't get an email that it was ready to go.. I just reclicked the link to verify email from my email and it asked me for a password... don't know if that's purely a coincidence that i did it around the same time or if it never sent me an email letting me know it was ready.

You can wait two weeks until they confirm your registration. But there are services that sell registered accounts. The cost is $ 5-10. I think this is not a big sum for those who can not wait to get down to work.

$5 is not bad to buy an account, i guess the problem is finding a safe place to buy as many are likely to be from scammers who take your coins and don't pass on the account details

It took.almost two.weeks for mine to be approved. Just wait for a while brother, the verification normally takes a lot of time.

As for me I was lucky. My account got verified within 24 hours whilst it took between two to four weeks for the account of my friends to get verified.

Well, that is one aspect about steemit I wish they could change. Sometimes you forget to check your mails and after some days you go there and you the comfirmation message. You try to complete the sign up and they tell you it is not possible simply because you didn't see the mail early.

a lot of users had stated it took them days to get their account approved, mine took only a week but after being with the site for months, I have learned there are faster ways like buying the account, some whales would also help out with creating it for you. I have two accounts in steemit, one I waited for a week and the other, a whale helped me set it up. i have not tried paying for the account though but a friend of mine did and it got approved in less than a minute.

It usually takes more than a week for the verification email to be sent. It sometimes feels quite uncomfortable waiting for up to 2 weeks for this email

for faster registration procedure, one can opt to pay for their account instead or if they know someone who is already registered, he or she can ask for help.

it is taking a lot of time now because of the small value of the steem. Don't worry, just be more patient, you might receive the confirmation email soon. Or if you want to try, you may create another email and create an account again.

it really depends, there are several members who had waited for numerous days before receiving the account confirmation. It takes a lot of patience.

it depends, most of us waited for a week while there are some who got their account approved in one or two days while others received their account confirmation after more than four weeks. Best of luck!

It took me about three weeks to get signed up, don't worry it'll come. I'm not really sure why they made such a long process but it's probably to protect against bot networks taking advantage of the voting system.

I agree with your point dear.. while sometimes it also comes really fast, I don't know maybe they have schedules and others are just lucky.

We must patiently to get our account verified. I think they make some checking manually to avoid double account. As we know many people do cheats with multiple accounts. This trick is not secret anymore!
