Post by: Adexbafo on March 18, 2018, 07:10:58 AM
There is one question, that's been bordering my mind and I felt that I should ask the forum, firstly, is it ideal to pay for airdrop, which they called instant airdrop, secondly, how could someone gets the details of these instant coin dropped into someone's wallet.

Yes, there's actually a website, the one I saw on medium post,  although the owner of the post on medium, captioned it, instant airdrop, where you send little amount of ether to some contract address and in return you will receive the stated token, so my question is "how genuine are these instant airdrop"

Most airdrop are free and requires a little task like filing up form for the airdrop, liking/following/subscribing/sharing their social media account and such but I never heard of an airdrop that requires you to pay.

secondly, how could someone gets the details of these instant coin dropped into someone's wallet.

If it is an ERC-20 token then you can verify it through https://ethplorer.io. If you want to get the details of how to add the token then you should ask the developer.

I don't know how they will do the instant airdrop but if it is an ERC-20 token then the issuance of it will go through the ethereum network so I doubt the if it would be instant because it will depend on the congestion in the network.
