The Ethereum Foundation has reportedly received a “voluntary enquiry from a state authority,” according to a note added to the group’s Github page. See more for yourself here.

Well it says "voluntary", meaning that it wasn't forced and it was just a discussion basically. I am guessing that it could be regarding the ETF as well, looks like the possibility is quite high. I know that its not going to be that easy to convince states or any agency to get them an ETF so close to Blackrock Bitcoin one, just within a few months, but it does make it easier for them since there is already a few. Blackrock probably contacted the foundation to be part of it and cooperate with them as well, because it would make the possibility of the ETF bigger and higher. Hopefully it gets passed soon.

Well, this should not be any issue of concern for me since I think that inquiry is just normal to happen anytime akin to asking anyone a question to clarify things or to confirm something so to avoid any one-sided conclusion. Who knows this inquiry can be related to a certain project that will be using somehow the Ethereum platform but of course, if this can be related to the ETF then this must be pursued with some seriousness. Ethereum will soon be entering its new era with the coming of its ETF just like what happened with Bitcoin and this is going to be huge for Vitalik-lead crypto platform.

I wonder if it's related with SEC investigation on company which have relation with Ethereum Foundation[1]. Even though it says voluntary, i still feel somewhat uneasy since this foundation have big influence towards ETH community and development.
