Bitcoin Forum / Re: Joinmarket.net (discussion) experience?
« on: May 19, 2024, 10:39:15 PM »
I haven't used Joinmarket.net personally but I can surely say that you should be careful from it because it's not worth it to go after a platforms whose domain name isn't a good one. I would never go for that one even if it become the last option for us.

13 years ago? I don't understand what you're trying to say. The concept of modern mixers did not exist in 2011.
I guess he wasn't saying 13 years ago but like Lucius mentioned on 13th of may. He's right the Frogmixer did something similar in past and it wasn't successful and now they are trying their luck on this forum but I'm sure once again they won't get success.

well lets see how long this campaign lasts. ;) ;)
It will last for long term, I believe those that lasted for sometime were not prepared for the actions of the government and their owners got scared after Samouri wallet founders arrest.

Can we stop discussing only the signature campaign when it comes to Bestchange?
I have already written several times, that the purpose of the existence of Bestchange (and many other services) is not to have a signature campaign and give money to forum users.
I agree but if that type of marketing is beneficial for those services then why not to have such marketing that won't cost them a lot but gives them more exposure? I'm not sure if they are anyhow going to run their signature campaign on this forum or not but they have done quite good on Bitcointalk by continuing their signature campaign on that forum for 4.5 years which's quite appreciatable. No matter if they think about running their signature campaign on this forum or do some other type of marketing, I hope best for them.

Some are wondering if the "new areas" that you mention could mean that you're considering moving the campaign to ALTT.
Yes, I also thought that, I believe ALTT is a good place for them to advertise their exchange and they could literally get similar kind of exposure that they were getting on Bitcointalk for much cheaper pay rates. Let's hear what they think about marketing on this forum.

Campaign manager is 1 route to go, but the company could also do a review campaign.
Yes, I believe a review campaign could be very helpful for a platform. With a review campaign a platform gets good attention and people know better about it when they read those reviews.

Great job buddy, those guys often shit their announcement thread with alt accounts to get some attention but they don't understand that newbie accounts aren't trusted by anyone and even if the continue shilling the thread it won't give them desired results.

Forum related / Re: Why is this common here.
« on: May 11, 2024, 04:26:45 PM »
I have just a simple and straight question to know maybe it was said here that users should end their post with "your opinion will be appreciated" because I have seen many users end their post with that statement
I think that trend was started by one users and others just followed it. I know in start there was only one member who was actually from this forum not a teleported user who used that phrase at the end of his threads, but the phrase got some good attention and that's why others also picked it. That's what I understand, I know I can be wrong, so let's hear from others.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Notcoin On Binance 16th May.

Now bitcoin correction running so when Notcoin will listed that time were more down that will be more bad for Notcoin i also think that.
Yes, let's see what's going to happen to this one, I'm pretty sure that it will get some hype in start because the whales on Binance always want to earn something from those new projects that get listed on their launchpad. I have seen such projects getting 10x value within days and I have also seen some of those losing a lot of value within short duration.

Please discuss about Notcoin project and what will listing price. And price Prediction.
It's good to see Notcoin getting listed on Binance but I don't think that it's right time to launch that coin on Binance.

The market is going up and down because of Bitcoin and if at 16th of may Bitcoin gets another dip then the newly launched coin on Binance won't be able to perform well.

When it comes to price prediction then I don't think that such a coin could be high in value because the supply of that coin is very high.

As for your idea that each post can only receive 1 karma from the same user, it doesn't seem like a bad idea to me.
Yes, that's a good idea but I think it could cause more bugs when implemented and there might be users who may take advantage of such bugs if they somehow find those. I believe a better approach should be to allow members to send +2 Karma per day without that delay of 10 hours. However, the users may not be allowed to user more than +2 or -2 Karma to a user within 24 hours.

Signature Campaigns / Re: Altcoinstalks Signature Campaign Observer
« on: May 10, 2024, 09:00:31 PM »
I don't think it's that easy. No one in the right mind would throw all their bitcoins into a service they've never used before. Splitting it into smaller tranches is what most people would do.
I think that's possible because scammers often spend money in order to get attention of the users and when they get the chance they steal the money of the users.

If I'm not wrong then there are users who mix more than 1 BTC at a time, and such type of users could be good targets for those scamming mixers.

You can read their rules carefully and then apply to those campaigns but if your rank is low you can increase your rank by posting and then again be a part of that campaign.
Everyone is allowed to apply for the campaigns that are open and the ones who contribute good stuff may get accepted in a campaign.

The campaign managers know which members are active, they also look for the posts which contain good and valuable information.

There is of course that rank requirement and if we keep that in our mind then higher rank members will get somewhat high pay rates in some signature campaigns.

It's always better to make posts without caring about the rank because if someone posts only to rank up then such type of posting may let a member to do spamming.

I actually think that adding two kinds of links would be more a burden than a benefit. If you don;t like the referral link then just remove it from the URL.
Yes, adding two different links might be burdensome but you could have a disclaimer about the links are referral links. However, that's not needed but if added then I think it won't impact the site in anyway.

And in the trading too if you want to make money, you can trade with cheap coins and make good profit from them.
Trading cheap coins could be very risky as well. Most of those can get dumped very badly, but if someone can find a mega project in its early days then that person could make some good profits by trading or investing in that project.

As a trader I prefer to trade only those coins which have high market caps. The coins with high marketcaps always recover no matter if it takes them years, but we should also know in depth about the coins that we trade.

Like in the previous bull run one of the top coins named Terra Luna got dumped so badly that people have lost millions of dollars worth of funds within a few days. That's why I believe that we should do our research as trader before actually trading any coin.
