You are right no one guarantees that the Altcoin season will happen in the next year but everyone has the right to give their opinion or prediction there is nothing wrong with predictions and there is no prohibition to make predictions because predictions can be right and can be wrong
Actually, "predictions" should be called "assumptions". In some ways we can be guided by what has happened in previous cycles and everything we have learned, but that does not imply that it will happen again. Predicting the value of Bitcoin, for example, is of little use, since at any moment something unexpected can happen, such as bad news for the industry (remember the Chinese ban on cryptocurrencies) and cause the value of the total market to sink to unimaginable levels, I think things like this are what we should be more prepared for. We may see an alt season, but we don't know when.
Everyone has their own way of managing their portfolio with a little tweaking and input from others and learning from experience.
